"Maralyn, hey Mara were you listening" I shot my head up to see my best friend, Anna waving her hand infront of my face. "S-Sorry 'bout that A, I got lost in my head" I stutter, "Mara you're impossible, I was saying that we should hang out this weekend" the red headed, blue eyed girl giggled. "No can do A" I sigh, it's not I didn't wanna it's just my parents don't fully accept that she's gay in all "but Mara" she winned getting on her knees "please" she begged grasping her hands together harshly, making her straight red locks bounce off her white skin. I sigh "I'll ask my parents, but there's no promises" i give in brushing a black lock behind my ear and push up my glasses. Me and Anna are what society call 'emos' which in the long run means emotional, yes we have pale skin and unique dyed hair and listen to screamo, heavy metal, and whatever we think is good music. I see some jocks pass by our spot on the swings at the park, it was friday i thought they had practice today.
"Hey guys look it's that bitch Maralyn, and that gay fag Anna" i hear one of the guys yell out
"Let's go teach them a lesson for coming to our school" the quarterback Erin yells out, whose also my ex-boyfriend
"A lets go now" I pull Anna. She just stairs at them "A?" Just as I called her name she got up, "HEY WHERE YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING" Erin yells. "Hurry lets go" I pull her "no" I was shocked at her answer "wh-" I couldn't finish I was tacked to the ground "got cha" Erin whispered. "Get off of her" I her Anna said calmly "get off the elemental queen now" she said "oh you two are dating now huh" Erin replied and grabbed my throat.
I struggled and gasped but soon blacked out.
