Tears dripped down my cheeks staining my skin," Please daddy, no!"
My small hands yanked at his arms that were wrapped around my body, carrying me down the steps to the basement.
" I told you not to leave the house Piper, you didn't listen to me."
I shrieked in fear," I'm sorry! Daddy please! I'll never do it again!"
" It's too late for that now Piper, I have to teach you better than this, and next time you'll know not to do it again."
I cried and screamed for mommy, she didn't answer. She had left on a trip that morning, she wouldn't be back until next week.
I found myself being tied to the metal rungs my father had installed in the walls. Anyone else would use them for linen, my daddy used them to tie me up.
I wiggled frantically trying to break free, all the while knowing it was no use. Sobs and screams broke free as I watched him remove his belt.
"Now Piper, count to ten."
I then felt the first lash of his belt on my back, a shriek left my lips and he screamed at me," COUNT PIPER! OR I ADD A LASH EVERYTIME YOU DISOBEY!"
