When I arrived at my grandmas she made me my normal, pancakes. She tried not to show it, but I could tell she was scared. She went in another room and called my mother's cell phone, no answer. I knew it was my mother, because as she called she whispered, "come on Jamie, pick up. Jamie, please pick up, you're daughter is worried" Yes I had other siblings but I was attached to my mother, I never left her side.. As I sat there all syrup my grandma came in, faked a smile and said, "How about you and I go to sues and go swimming." I was very excited, Sue was my great grandmother, she had an in-ground pool put in for me and my siblings. As I was swimming with my Barney floaties, Sue and my grandma were calling my mother repeatedly. Finally, she answered. My grandma answered with relief.
"Where the fuck are you" said grandma
"I'm with my friends, mom" said Jamie.
"You have your daughter over here, worried!" said grandma.
"Mom, leave me the fuck alone" said Jamie.
"Dude, D just got a new bag of heroin" said a muffled voice.
My grandma hung up the phone..
