It was midnight, I was walking through the streets with Sebastian looking for criminals who know about the vicious dog attacks that have happened recently.
"It's getting awfully late to be searching for criminals, my lord. We should be heading back"
"Alright, fine" I replied
As I started to walk a stray cat pounced in front of me and started to play with a fallen leaf. It noticed me and and brushed it's head against my legs. I picked it up and held it to close to me. It licked my nose with its rough tounge. It was cute in a way, I would like it around the manor to take care of the mice, and Sebastian could look after it.
"Here"I said
I handed it to Sebastian. He gently stroked it's back and wrapped it in his tailcoat.
"What a beautiful cat"
"Yes, take him back to the manor I need to at least try and deal with the mice problem."
Then a loud clatter fallowed by growling echoed through the street. The cat leaped out of Sebastian's arms and in front of us. It began to hiss and snarl at the darkness of the ally way.
