Life in a first world country isn't easy
It actually makes me quite queasy
To think that I only have the iPhone 4
And every day I have to do a chore
That my dad makes me walk the dog
In rain, snow, sun, hail or fog!
I have to eat toast that is burnt
And wear clothes that aren't current
I have to clean my room
Share a washroom!
My house is too small
I'm only 5 feet tall
With all my problems it makes me think
'bout those who barely have enough to drink
I don't have a good phone
When some kids live alone
I have hours of chores to do
When kids are battling the flu
I have to walk the dog every day
When other kids don't have a pet for play
I have to eat some bad food
Others don't have food, I'm so rude!
Who cares about the current clothes
Many don't have any, and froze
I have a small room, and want a bigger home
While others have no where to live alone
Grass ain't greener on the other side
All these blessing we put aside
So remember next time you throw away food
That some don't have any food to throw away
You may be so rude
But others have no say
Keep that in mind
Cause we are so blind
