Chapter 4

Alexis' POV:

*Tuesday Morning*

I wake up to the annoying buzzing of my phone. I flip over in the uncomfortable bed to look at the time... It's 4 AM! I look at my phone to see Ky calling me.

"Hello" I ask her wanting to go back to bed.

" Hey Lex. What's up?" she asks me.

" Ky. Why the HELL are you calling me!?!" I ask her.

"Lex why are you yelling at me!?!" She asked me like she completely forgot I'm in London.

"Ky it's fucking 4 AM why are you calling me!?!" I ask her.

"No it's only 9 PM... oh wait your in London I completely forgot. Did I wake you?" She asked me.

"No I'm awake at 4 AM talking to the unicorn I got at the airport. Of course you woke me up!" I half yell at her.

"Oh sorry Lex, I will call u later ok? Sorry agin for waking you. Goodnight!" she said before she hung up. I have to get up in 5 hours so I can still get enough sleep for the big day that is coming.

* 5 hours later*

I hear my alarm going off on the nightstand right where I put it after Ky had called me last night.

I have a meeting at 10:30 with the the lady who owns the apartment, I think her name was Rose. After that I'm going on a job hunt. I get dressed and go down stairs to get breakfast. I get a waffle, an egg and 3 pieces of bacon. After I'm done eating I go to do my hair and make up.

When I finish straightening my hair and doing makeup it's 9:30. I have 1 hour to get to my meeting with Rose about getting the apartment. I call a cab to come pick me up and take me to the meeting. When the cab gets to the hotel I get in and tell them the address. When I get there I pay the driver and go to find Rose.

I find her standing out side the apartment waiting for me.

"Hi you must be Alexis nice to meet you I'm Rose, I'm the landlord." She tells me while shaking my hand.

"Hi nice to meet you." I say.

As we enter the apartment I already tell that I love it. Right as you walk in there is a beautiful couch facing a T.V. And a fire place that is surrounded by stone and book shelfs on both sides of the fire place.

Then to the left there is a beautiful kitchen with white cabinets with glass showing inside of the cabinet and very nice counter tops with a little area with bar stools. Then there is an nice dinning room. On the right there is one of the three bedrooms it is a nice size with a queen size bed and a nice window. Next to that is a 1/2 bathroom. Then on the back wall are the last two bedrooms, one on the left the full bathroom in the middle and the other on the right. I go to the left first it is a good size too. The bathroom is nice.

Lastly is the bedroom is on the right. I open the door and I automatically love it. There is a big window with a great view. There are built in book shelfs on the wall with the door. A nice white dresser with a mirror on it is against the left wall and a nice closet on the right wall. There is a soft rug covering most of the floor which is a beautiful wood floor. Then there is a nice ceiling fan.

I'm speechless it is beyond perfect. It's $1,100 dollars a month. I post the roommates wanted ad after I tell Rose I will take it. I go and put in an application to a bakery that I found. When I left I got a call from a unknown number. I'm assuming it is for the apartment.

"Hello" I say into the phone.

" Hi I'm Susan, my daughter Cambry is moving here for school and I saw your roommates wanted ad. Is that taken or not?" she asked me.

" It's still up when can she come and look at it?" I ask.

" I can come look at it without her is around 6PM?" she asked me and set the time.

"Ya that time works. Thank you!" We exchange goodbyes then hang up.

It is 4 o'clock now and all the papers are signed so I'm already renting it. I decided to go the apartment and get ready for Susan.

*Two hours later*

I'm sitting I'm my new apartment with Susan talking about her daughter. She sounds really nice and someone I would get along with. We set up a meeting for her to come and meet me and move in. Susan said to tell her it's a interview. She is coming tomorrow for the "interview".
