After my long, tiring  walk home, I finally entered my warm welcoming  home where I dumped my heavy dance bag and plonked down onto the chair. Mum popped her head out from behind the kitchen door "How was practice Riley?" mum asked.                                                                                                         "Hard, tiring and... yeah. Coach was pretty intense tonight." I replied. I knew that with coach being intense I would be pushed to my limit. 'Well' I thought 'If I want to achieve my dream then I better start getting used to it'.

Lying in bed, with the stars above me, I think about all the possibilities that my future holds. 'Tomorrow is a new day.' I thought 'Just a new day'

The next morning I was so not ready to crawl out of bed. All my muscles were aching after yesterday's practice. I stared at the clock. 6:30 am. The bus left at 7:00 so I only had half an hour to shimmy on down the bus stop. As I was walking down the row, I heard The Voice. Yep, THE VOICE. The voice that belonged to Leah Webb. Leah Webb was not only the meanest girl in the whole of Riverbank High , but she was the all time best soccer player. Yes, I know with me writing this story it sounds REALLY lame, but believe me if you saw this creature I think you would be a little bit terrified as well. Everybody watches her when she walks down the corridor, the nerdy kids just move out of zone and Leah just laughs and flicks her long blonde hair over her shoulder. What it looks like to me, is that she has set up this little, I don't know thing, with the group of boys because every time she walks past them, they do the whistle. "Oh Gosh. She is heading over here. Dam it Dam it Dam it! Pretend to not notice her... Oh...No..."
