"We're too far from the Pokémon center to turn back." said Citron.
"What are we to do?" questioned Serena

In dangerous situations, emotions are usually left behind. However, that is not seen with our exceptionally brilliant Kalos gang, who got caught in a blizzard on their way to Eisetsu City. Two particular people were about to have their lives changed drastically.

"You don't understand! I lost several regional conferences consecutively!"
*pouts"
"WHAT HAPPENED TO SATOSHI? Why are you so different? The Satoshi I know doesn't fret about a loss, and never gives up! Why are you acting like this?!"
"I-"
POOF! Snow hits the back of his head.
Again and again, until he falls down, only the chiling pale snow cushioning his fall.
Little did they know, this had finally brought back our old hero. Except he wasn't done yet.

Meanwhile
"Look! There's a small cave we can rest by."
It was getting very dark. Puni-chan (10% Forme) had looked for Satoshi and Gekkouga. Of course, both Pokémon found each other eventually, and then Gekkouga found Satoshi.

"Oh no! I need to rescue those Kofuurai!"
After getting them off the tree, suddenly, a branch snaps!
"Kouga!"
Gekkouga caught Satoshi with his tongue, and saved him from near death.
"Thanks buddy. Now we need to rescue that Kofuurai!"
"Alright! LET'Z GO!" (A/N: Got this from the subs, and decided to reuse this)
Suddenly, the transformation had instantaneously happened in full. Gekkouga was now one with his trainer.
"Use Double Team!"
Many clones of the synchro-evolved Pokémon had run with extreme agility around the rocks. The upside to this was that Satoshi could see from each clone.
"Use Cut!"
Gekkouga cut a rock in front of him.
"Catch it!"
With a swift, but soft landing, Gekkouga caught the Kofuurai.
"Alright!" "Kouga!" they both cheered
And it was at that moment, their bond reached the maximum.

Serena looked down, distraught at the events that occurred. But suddenly, as Pikachu was searching for his trainer, Team Rocket interfered! But strangely, Pikachu wasn't very into the game, and his Thunderbolt was extremely weak. But then, our beloved hero returns!
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika pika, PikaCHU!!!!"
And with that, and without regrets, Team Rocket is-
"BLASTING OFF AGGAAAAIINNN!"
"They never learn."
"De nene!"

"Satoshi!"
"Serena!"
After their happy reunion, she must come to terms with an apology.
"I'm sorry, I overreacted earlier."
"It's alright, you taught me to be me! And that's what's important."
She smiled warmly at him, suddenly, his cheeks started to feel funny.
"What is this feeling? It certainly feels similar to when me and Gekkouga transformed. I feel, like we're one..."
"Satoshi?"
She waved her hands in front of him.
"Huh? Umm yeah..."
Serena couldn't pick up on this, so she was in for a surprise later.

At the Pokémon Center 11:00 PM, Serena and Satoshi are the only ones up. Citron and Eureka were tired out. They had an awkward chat.
"So, Serena, I was wondering, earlier today, I felt something, when you smiled at me. It was strange."
Serena felt slightly guilty for causing him distress and anxiety
"It was similar to when my Gekkouga transformed, I felt, at peace"
If she wasn't thinking straight, she would've hit the floor with bugged out eyes.
"I never really felt it before, not in this way. Do you feel the same way with me?"
"Figures. He's so dense. But at least he likes me, right?" Serena muttered under her breath
"What was that?"
"Nothing..."
"So, uh, back to the question."
This was not the kind of situation that Serena would like to be in. But, she knew he wouldn't understand, so, she replied.
"I-, I-, umm, yes?" she replied, her face beet red
"Do you know why? My old rival Gary told me it was something called love."
Oh no, he knows.
"I think I love you, Serena"
And with that, she kissed him, on the lips.
