Lacy p.o.v.
As I walk to class I start feeling a bit uneasy kind of like someone is watching me. My ears twitch and I pick up the sound of someone behind me. Trying to match my steps. I spin around my nails elongating into claws as I do. There is no one there. I look around and still I see no one. In fact the halls are empty. My nails retract back to there normal length and I continue walking to my class. When I get to my class the teacher is in the middle of a speech of some sorts. The first thing that I notice is that he is extremely short and his ears are slightly pointed. I sneak around to the last empty desk, hoping that he didn't see me. He continues with his speech and I let out a breath I don't know I has been holding in. After his little speech he does attendance. He calls everyone's names and they answer with a 'here'
The rest of my classes go pretty much the same seeing as it is the first day of school. After school I start walking home when I get that feeling again. Like I am being watched. I shift into an owl and fly home. When I get home and let myself in I see that my mom is home early.
She's not alone either...
