chapter one

"so you already talked this out with your roommates, right?" they're okay with all of this?" nadia's worried voice could be heard over the phone.

alissa's laugh could be heard over the phone. "i already told you this last week when you booked your flight over a week ago. neels and jake have no problem with you staying here until you get your own place which shouldn't take long." nadia chuckled, nodding even though alissa couldn't see her. "tell your roommates i said thank you, it truly means a lot." alissa smiled brightly, exclaiming loudly. "you can tell them tomorrow when you see them! they're coming with me to pick you up from the airport. i know you're going to be carrying a lot of luggage but the best part is, the don't know that piece of information yet."

nadia laughed but it was true, nadia looked behind her at all her suitcases she couldn't even begin to count how many suitcases were already there and she still had one or two more bags to pack. she was coming with a lot of clothes. shortly after nadia and alissa said their goodbyes and hung up the phone, leaving nadia to pack the rest of her clothes.

the next day *

nadia huffed loudly, struggling to put the last suit case into her car. after about five minutes she finally succeeded and she hopped in, starting to drive to the airport. thankfully, her brother drew was coming (in a separate car of course with their parents) and he was going to take her car for her and then send it to california.

after about a 45 minute drive to the airport nadia finally made it and took all her suit cases out of the car and placed them on one of the dollies the airport provided and wheeled her way inside and into the waiting area. there she found her mother and her father and her older brother, drew.

since it was 8:45 am they had 15 minutes to say goodbye until nadia boarded her plane. for the past 10 minutes nadia and her family just joked around and talked about random stuff. when it was 5 minutes until nadia had to board her plane, she pulled both of her parents into a hug. she felt the tears coming but she didn't dare to let them fall. she know she'd miss her parents very much but this wasn't the end, they could FaceTime whenever they wanted to and they could come visit or nadia could visit them.

pulling away from her parents, nadia then moved on to her brother. she buried her head into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her tightly and that's when the tears finally decide to spill out. she knew she would miss him the most. they were so close.

"plane 5a to los angeles, california is boarding in 2 minutes." could be heard over the loud speakers by an annoying voice, almost robot like. (i never been on a plane so i don't know how any of this works, lmao.)

"i guess this is it." she pulled away from drew and gave everybody a group hug until she finally pulled away and started walking to her terminal.

the plane ride there was an extremely long and boring 6 1/2 hours and nadia nearly jumped off the plane once they landed. she looked down, checking her phone and noticed that alissa texted her 5 minutes ago saying that they were here and were waiting for nadia at baggage claim.

she wasn't really sure where baggage claim was so she just decided to follow a group of people and they were headed the corrected way. once at baggage claim, nadia searched the conveyor belt for her suitcases. once she obtained all of her suit cases, she spotted alissa not too far away. "alissa!" nadia called out, having her turn around and immediately she smiling and started walking over to where nadia was. jake and neels following behind alissa like two lost puppies.

she gave alissa a big hug and stepped back to look at the boys as alissa introduced them to each other. nadia stepped aside from her luggage and pointed to it as she let out a little laugh. "um guys, a little help here please?" neels and jake's eyes widen as they looked at all of the bags next to nadia. "damn, you're worse than alissa! and i guess this is why alissa invited us to come pick you up from the airport. jake exclaimed as he started walking over to the suit cases and taking a few. alissa and nadia just laughed in response as neels followed jake's actions and they started walking towards their parked cars that were in the parking lot. neels and alissa came in neels car while jake drove alone in his own car. neels and alissa were in the front, goofing off. leaving jake and nadia in the back.

"yeah, they totally like each other." jake and nadia said in usion, having them turn and look at each other and then laughing at the same  exact time again. "i could just tell we are going to be really great friends." jake stated with a smile on his face as he walked out of the airport with nadia on his side. "yeah, me too." nadia replied with a huge smile on her face also.

an: i know this first chapter was a little boring but don't worry, hopefully it will get much better and you guys will learn to love it. this is my first story ever on wattpad so please no hate! if you'd like to give constructive criticism then that's fine. i tried to make this chapter as long as i could but im writing this at 1:00 in the morning so that didn't work out very well. i also didn't check this chapter for any mistakes. anyway, i hoped you guys enjoyed the first chapter of indecisive. 😘
