Today was the day I was going to come out to my family. I'm a gay 18 year old got a problem with that? Now alot of people arnt homophobic but still more adults and grandma's and grandpa's aunts uncles are. I'm not saying every one of them are homophobic I'm saying most are?
I don't know anymore to be honest. I'm really scared to come out to them because my family is very religious I'm not against it, it's just my mom's like "get a bf dear" and I'm like that's never gonna happen mom only in your dreams, but of course I just say "mommy I'm a baby I can't get one".
But really I have a girlfriend her name is Bianca but we just call her Bee even tho she's alergic to them.
"Y/N were gonna go down stairs now." Bee said as I looked at her in fear but eyes still as bright.
"Ok, just a little scared mom always thought we were friends and so did the rest of the family." I said.
"Y/N/N it's gonna be fine." Bee said.
"But what if they don't accept me?" I said as tears escaped my eyes thinking about it.
"But what if they do accept you the chance of that is really low but like graser said "life is about taking risks" and if u don't take any you'll end up at the beginning." Bee said as she soothed me.
"Ok, let's go." I said as I held her hand as we reached the middle of the stairs I let go just in case anyone saw us.
I went were everyone could see me. Everyone was either talking or on their phones.
"Everyone!" I said as I felt everyone's eyes on me. Bee held my hands and then I got the disappointment stares at some.
"Um there's something that I've been hiding from you all." I began to say it felt like I could barely say or slip out any words but you can do this I know you can Y/N
"I'm gay......" I said.
I thought that, that was the end I didn't want to explain everything cause I didn't want to have any other attacks.
