“The trip should take at least a day in the Narwhal Booster,” said younger Arden. They were in the HQSL’s garage, preparing to travel to Antarctica. Nina stared at the Narwhal Booster. Once again another invention was in a shape of a Narwhal. “I swear Seki will be happy to know that she’s the mascot of HQSL,” she mumbled to herself, as she climbed into the Narwhal Booster. “Well Seki should thank me then,” Leo responded cheerfully, climbing in after her. The door of the Narwhal Booster hissed shut. She took in all the complicated buttons and dashboards.“Ehh, are you sure you know how to drive this thing?” she asked worriedly.                                                                              Leo shrugged. “I’m not bad enough to crash.”                                                                                      “Yeah sure, that’s very assuring,” she replied sarcastically.                                                                 “You better strap in now,” Leo said, pulling the seatbelt across his waist. Without making sure Nina was ready, he pushed the lever forward. Clutching the Narwhal-643 and Marcix, Nina was flung over her chair and into the back of the submarine.                                                                                      Nina cursed at Leo in 10 different languages.“Well, I did say strap yourself in,” Leo mumbled grumpily, understanding every curse. Nina swam to her seat and whacked Leo hard with the box.“Ok, fine, I deserved that,” rubbing at his sore spot. Nina put the items down and started pulling Leo’s hair. “OWWWWW, stop pulling my hair, I’m trying to drive here,” he complained. Leo looked at Nina. For a second, he felt terrified of her. Her long, raven black hair was flowing around her head, giving her a scary atmosphere, and her purple eyes were giving the murderous look. Leo mentally shivered.                                                                                                                                                      “I hate you, you stupid liar!” She yelled. “I wish you will go bald!”                                                             Leo, who was too busy defending himself, and didn’t notice that he, drove past a sign. “It’s not my fault! I swore I wouldn’t tell you!” He cried.                                                                                                    Suddenly a dark shadow swam past the window in the dark water. Nina let go of Leo’s hair. “Ehhhhh, are you sure you didn’t enter the Killer Whales’ territory? She asked worriedly.                       Leo grumpily smoothed his hair down. “How should I know, I was too busy saving my hair.”           More shadows appeared.                                                                                                                          “Oh great, it’s all your fault, now we’re going to be eaten,” Nina said annoyed. She flopped back down onto her seat.                                                                                                                                       “Nina, it’s a good idea if you buckle up now,” Leo increased the submarine’s speed. The shadows brushed themselves against the submarine, rocking the submarine side to side. Nina quickly pulled the seatbelt across her waist. Then at that moment, the submarine was pushed by immense strength, which caused the submarine to roll. The Submarine scraped against the rocks, as the Narwhal Booster was jerked backwards. Nina, who was trying to hold her breakfast in, didn’t notice Leo pulled at the microphone. Leo onto the microphone tightly, opened his mouth, and wailed. The wail carried into the water, amplified by the microphone. The cliffs shook, causing tumbling debris to fall. The Killer Whales wailed and clicked, distressed by the supersonic wail, and swam off. Slowly, the submarine up righted into its proper position.                                                                                                           “More secrets?” Nina snarled.                                                                                                                    Leo shrugged sheepishly. “Whale DNA.”                                                                                                  Nina sighed in resignation. “Whatever, let’s get this job done.”
