_America's POV_

It's been a month since we got here. It was difficult getting information but at last, we had. Two weeks after the kidnapping incident, we did nothing but work.

I stumbled upon a fact (I heard it among the student body) that may complete our mission once and for all.
Every Christmas, the Albrights usually held a Christmas Ball, where Mr. and Mrs. Albright are present, and all who was part of the former Chess gang, though they only invited those who seemed close to them.

I believe that Axis, together with our parents are ready for that particular Christmas ball. Lately, we haven't received a message from Mom. But, I have a feeling it's because France is here.

"America Aragon?" A voice pulled me out from my thoughts.

"Yes?" I asked casually.

"I would like to have a word with you. After class, of course."It was Mr. Roberts, our science teacher. I nodded and looked over at Abel, who mouthed 'someone's in trouble'.

I snorted, quite loudly rather that the whole class turned silent, even our instructor.

"What?" I asked, playing the innocent.

"Okay, so as you know class, the otic...."

I have to gather more information about Chess. I have to. But, first I have to deal with our instructor.

"Class dismissed." Students rushed to the door leaving me and Axis. I gestured for them to wait outside and they nodded silently.

"So, I am in charge of the school fair and I was given the privilege to choose a student head, to assist in the school fair...," Oh, God. No. Please don't let it be me.., "And I chose you, obviously." This is way out of plan and extra work. I was having an internal battle whether to jump for joy because I was given the opportunity blah blah blah or I would politely decline because I wasn't fit for the job.

I opted for something else. "I am thrilled you chose me, but will I be able to assign tasks among my classmates, Sir?"

A look of relief washed over his face and he smiled, "Of course. In fact, you're in charge of all the decorations, booths and shows, while I take care of the invitations, finances, and documents to ensure we have the best school fair." Either that or you're just lazy, Sir, is what I wanted to say to him.

I nodded and he said his goodbyes. I groaned mentally, walking out of the classroom with a look that screamed 'I-f*cking-hate-this'. "America! OMG! You're going to organize a whole school fair! This is our first time! But, how about the mission?" Artemis said the last questions barely audible.

I sighed, "Look. We have to do this. Maybe if I assign tasks, we can get to go at either of the Chess's houses and snoop around. That way, we can gather more information. Are we clear?"

"Yes, Captain." It was all they answered. "C'mon. We have lunch with them." I replied back.

I heard someone groaned. "Again? Why can't we just skip lunch?" Abel whined---- pure annoyance evident in his face.

Keion put his arm over Abel's shoulder and replied, "We can't do that because America here shall talk of her plans to Chess. Though, I hope they're stupid enough to fall for your trap."

"Hey!" I said.

"Kidding. Let's go." Keion seemed off. It was weird because he isn't usually this talkative. What has gotten into him? As we were walking towards the cafeteria, someone bumped into my shoulder.
