Collecting the New Member

“Kana, you have a mission with Deidara, Kisame and Itachi” Konan said walking into my new room.

“Not even here for 24 hours and I’m already being put to use” I smiled as I stood up.

“Well, you are the Dragon” Konan reasoned as she led me to Leader’s office.

“True” I agreed before walking into Leader’s office.

The other three were already standing there.

“Good, you’re here. Thank you Konan” Leader said.

Konan nodded her head before leaving.

“This mission is highly dangerous. That’s why Itachi and Kana are going.” Leader started.

“What do you mean that’s why Itachi and Kana are going!?!” Deidara yelled out annoyed.

“I think it means that Itachi and I are to keep an eye on you children while you play in the grown up world” I teased.

Deidara glared at me.

“Anyway, you are to go and…collect, this person. They have already gotten in contact with me and I have agreed with them. Head to the Hot water village and bring this person back. Itachi, Kana you are both in charge.” Leader explained.

“Who are we going to meet?” Kisame asked.

“Her name is Saira. She has asked to become a member. I said yes. She can be very valuable to our cause” Leader elaborated.

“ANOTHER GIRL!” Deidara screamed.

“Oh relax, you can still do your guy stuff, as long as it’s not gross” I said annoyed.

“That’s enough” Itachi said. “Why is Saira valuable?”

“Saira, is the one and only daughter of Orochimaru” Leader said.

I cocked my head to the side.

“Wonder if he’ll come after Saira. I still need to kill him” I mumbled.

Kisame gave me an odd look, which I ignored.

“Why is the four of us going?” Itachi questioned.

“I told Saira, that a female would be with the people I send to collect her. Deidara is going because he is annoying me” Leader elucidated.

I cracked a smile to the comment as Deidara grew an anime vein.

“So why not send just Deidara and I?” I asked.

“Because if Orochimaru does turn up, you are going to need back up. Itachi and Kisame are the best option” Leader told us.

I nodded, understanding clearly.

“You leave right away” Leader added.

I followed the males out of the office.

“Let’s go” Itachi ordered.

As soon as we were out of the base, we jumped into the trees.

“This is going to be a long trip” I muttered as Deidara started to complain about another female joining.

Once we reached the Hot water village, we split up and looked for Saira.

The description we have of her was that she looked EXACTLY like Orochimaru, but Saira was female, had reddish eyes and would have a spider and a snake with her.

I, sadly, was stuck with Deidara.

“Why did I have to get stuck with you? You’ll only bring me down” Deidara complained.
