Sneak Peak

She was crying. She felt broken, useless, pathetic. Her eyes. That's what this was about. Her eyes changed colour every few seconds. From the colour of oblivion, to the bright colour of the sun, to the lovely green in lush fields. Her draconic shaped eyes looked at her hands, the ones covered in dirt and blood. Her blood. Even with all this, she knew there was one person that cared. With them in mind, she cried even more, they left for wizard training almost five years ago.

She whipped her head around, yet there was no one there. She looked back down then shivered. "Did you miss me, my little dragon", the voice purred. Only one person called her little dragon. She turned around and hugged him furiously, "I missed so so much". "Hehehehe" he started to chuckle, "I couldn't leave my little dragon alone after all, besides, I missed your enchanting eyes". Her eyes widened, "W-what are you talking about, my eyes aren't enchanting. They're more like a curse", looking down for the third time that afternoon. "Look at me, your eyes make you special, they make you beautiful, they make you my little dragon". With that he softly kissed her.

When he pulled away she felt sad, and suddenly she was pulled into a kiss again, but this time more passionate, slightly more needy, and she loved every single bit of it. She just wanted to fly into the sky and shout out for joy. With a dazed look he said, "I've always loved you, I will continue to love you. Those five years we hell for me, but the though of you kept me going, I wanted to protect you, and hold you, and love you-" He was cut off "I love you too you idiot! I waited every single day for you, and now you're here. I'm sacred to let go, like this is just some kind of dream and-" Another kiss. He looked at her with burning love, "This isn't a dream, I really am here. Come. Let's get out of this town. We can make a new beginning in another place". And with that she said yes.
