Chapter three

Ransom
Ransom woke up with the high morning sunshine. When he seen that Melody was still sleep, he thought should I wake her or let her sleep. Just soon after he woke he heard people coming so he had to wake her. He tapped her arm and she got up, but she looked mad.
"What do you want Ransom"? Asked Melody
"We need to go people are coming near and I don't think we want it be our fathers". Said Ransom
She did not reply, she got up and and stopped and looked but she seen nothing but she did know where a cabin is. So she walked and Ransom followed her. A few minutes later she reached the cabin and she knocked on the door.
"Why are you knocking"? Asked Ransom
"It my grandma on my moms side house, and she does not like my dad because he let my mom g out and a drunk driver hit her and she died three days later. I lived with her right before my mom died but he wanted me to come back and live with him". Melody said
"Oh I an sorry you did not have to share that with me." said Ransom Befor she answered him the door opened and Melody grandma answered with tears in her eyes.
"Baby is that you"? Asked grandma
"Yea grandma it me we need a place to stay because are father want to marry us off to someone we don't love". Replied Melody
"Okay you two come on in and make you self at home". Grandma said

Melody
She thought to herself I need to tell grandma that people are coming after her.
"Grandma I am getting married to a boy who dad picked but I hate him and I think he is coming to find me". Cried melody
"It okay they will not find you for a couple of days". Replied grandma
They both let at a breath they did not know they were holding. Melody wants to make Ransom hers even if it for a couble days.
Grandma said "well kids it time to turn in and Melody if your dad or brothers come lookin for you I will tell them I have not seen her."
"Thanks grandma" said in a sweet voice
