Naruto's pov

Master had gotten sick today, how I don't know, but today. I'm going to take care of him until he's all better and that's a promise that I'm gonna keep.

Sasukie had taken Meemee with him to school while Brother and Itachi went to get Master some medicine. Oh also, Kyu said I should get used to calling Master, Sasuke cause it's not really normal to call someone Master. But he didn't tell me why I couldn't call him Master though well except for *It's not something people say normally around others* than wouldn't say anything else about it, his face just turned red and he wouldn't look at me for the rest of the day.

I pouted a little before looking at Master again as I carefully climbed onto his chest laying on him when I felt a hand on top of my head "you don't need to worry about me Kitten, I'm fine," he says while looking at me, as I pouted more.

'Ya big lier, your not fine you're sick!' I slightly glared at him "num num," I squeaked out 'get some rest so you can get better faster ya'know,' I puffed my cheeks a little I lightly pawed at his chest as he chuckled 'don't you freaking laugh at me! Go to sleep!'.

"Alright, Alright, I'll get some rest," Master says finally as I nodded my head, and when he went to sleep that's where I let my guard up.

Why, so no one and I mean no one can hurt my Master and get away with it while he's down.

And besides, Kyuubi's been teaching me self-defense whenever Master and his brothers are gone, he says I'm a natural white belt. Whatever that means?

I then looked at Sasuke again before carefully getting up a little then moved forward to gently put a kiss on his forehead 'these normally make me feel better, I hope these work for him too' my tails wagged happily, as I smiled.

After a while I heard the front door slide open as my ears perked up 'is that them?' I raised my head and sniffed the air a bit 'no, I don't recognize them,' I back away from Master and hopped down turning into my one-tailed fox form, Kyuubi says this is my easier form to rely on but he'll teach me how to concentrate on the other 8 one day. 

I then laid on the floor and waited patiently for whoever was coming into our home, thinking they could walk all over our turf. 
I restrained myself from growling while waiting for them, 'how did they get in any way and who opens the front door when they're breaking and entering. They're probably thinking it was all clear or just wanted to distract me from my task,' my tail flicked to the side when Master's door opened 'strike one,' I lifted my head to see my older brother's look alike, but why do his eyes seem kinda orange 'strike two,' I glared at him.

"Hey, we're home," this stranger says as he smiled at me his voice didn't sound right, it had like a strange creepy sound to it 'strike three,' "we got snacks and medicine," he says while walking inside with another stranger right behind him.
I got up slowly and moved backward 'I dare one of you to try to touch him, I'll make sure you lose either a finger or a whole hand try me,' I started growling.

"It's ok little one, I'm not going to hurt him," the stranger says while getting closer to us while the other guy set the bag of snacks on Master's desk 'it doesn't smell like anything eatable or treatable must be poison,' the Itachi look-alike soon gently put his hand near my muzzle so I could sniff it.

'Oh, I see what you're trying to do here, ok I'll play your little game' I sniffed his hand then sat down wagging my tail as he smiled at me before looking at Master 'wow, did you really forgot to keep your eye's on your opponent?' I soon bite down on his hand as he screamed in pain and tried to pull away, but I didn't let him go when his friend tried pulling me off but I only strengthened my jaws and dug my claws into the other guy's arms while growling.

But after a bit, the guy two had stopped trying to pull me and had collapsed to the floor letting me go while the other guy froze.

'Who is he looking at...' I turned my head with his hand still in my mouth only to see Master sitting up with a pillow in his hand glaring at us. I lowered my ears but didn't let go of the man's hand "release," he hissed causing me to let go immediately before I quickly hopped onto the bed and sat down "as for you...take your friend and get the hell out of my house before I kill you," he growled while glaring at the other man.

It didn't seem to register to the man quick enough before Master glanced at me and nodding his head in the stranger's direction.

Understanding what he wanted I hopped back off of the bed and launched right at him cause the man to become frantic and quickly picked up his friend while I chased him around and straight out of the house.

Feeling proud of myself I raised my muzzle high in the air and strutted back to Master's room where he picked me up 'so you're not mad at me then,' "good boy," he says while patting my head.

'HE SAID I WAS GOOD!!! HE'S PROUD OF ME!!!! YES!!!!' I got out of my fox form and smiled up at him as he laid on the bed and held me close causing me to purr happily while he went right back to sleep.

My ears perked up at the sound a the front door opening again then closed, with muffled voices 'who is it now,' I would move but I'm stuck in Master's arms so I couldn't do anything but lift my head to sniff the air.

A knock then sounded on the room door before it opened slightly "Kit? How's Sasuke doing?" I then heard my brother say as I purred softly when the door opened all the way and Kyuubi peeked inside before smiling at me, which I returned happily.

Itachi then peeked into the room second "we brought medicine with us too," he says while walking in before noticing the bag on the desk "where did this come from?" he asked confused.

I carefully moved out of Master's arms and squeaked letting Kyuubi explain what I said though they were both shocked by what I informed them about.
"We're going to need to be more protective of them..." Itachi soon says while looking out Master's window with a certain glint in his eye's 'what's he thinking about?' I questioned in my head.

Lovely change this chapter has especially with the ending I'm so proud of myself. Also where are so close to the ending of this book, and soon I'll just rewrite the next one cause it's just as bad as this one was.
