It was a perfect day to be outside. I laid out under a tree. The shade protected me from too much sun. I put my sword on the ground beside me and then closed my eyes and relaxed. "Hey ___." I heard a voice above me. "Hey Kiba." I said without even opening my eyes. "How did you know my voice like that?" "You have a very distinctive voice Kiba," I said sighing. I heard him jump down from the tree. "Yeah sure, what are you doing out here?" "Enjoying the sun and relaxing. I have a day off from missions and stuff. What about you?" I said. "Yeah pretty much everyone does." He was talking about our friends. I heard Akamaru come up to me. "Hey dog," I said as he got up on my lap. "Ugh, Kiba." He sat down beside me and laughed. "Akamaru likes you though. If you don't like it I'll call him off." I shook my head leaning against the tree again.
We have had an interesting background together, me and Kiba. I came to Konaha about 5 years ago, we are 16 now. We were 12. We tease each other and sometimes are mean. But it's pretty steady. We heard our friends come up to us. "Hello ____, Kiba," Sakura said. "Sakura, Neji, Ino, Shikamaru, Naruto, Shino, Hinata, Sai, and Choji." I said still with my eyes closed. "How the hell did you know that?" Naruto said wondering how I did that. "I know you all that well." They all laughed. "Yo Kiba." I heard Ino say. "Hm?" Kiba replied. "Are you two a thing now?" "What?" I said looking at Kiba flustered. He turned a crimson red. "N-no," he said grabbing Akamaru from my hands. "Sure," Ino said giggling. I got up and grabbed my sword. "I'm going to eat, bye." I said. I was annoyed at that question. 'I don't even know if he likes me, so I can't really say.' I sometimes think I like Kiba, but then I thought, he wouldn't like a (e/c) eyed, (h/c) haired jounin. *sigh.* I kept walking into the woods.
Back at the group they were all talking. "Why would you ask that guys?!" Kiba said. "Because we all think it's going on, or will." Naruto putting his arm around Kiba's neck. "No I have to go see ___." "Go get her!" Sai said. They all looked at him and laughed, but Kiba just rolled his eyes. He ran into the forest
