I feel the wind in my long brown hair as I jump, I want to see how far from the water I am, but I don't dare open my eyes in fear of having them open when I hit the water. It feels like forever before I hit the the river but I know that in reality it's only been a minute. The water is shockingly cold at it takes all my power not to gasp at how cold it is. I finally reach the surface, gasping for air I try to reach for the bank, or anything that could help get me out, if I stay in too long I will freeze that for sure. I feel myself growing numb and struggling to stay awake. Something grabs me out on the water just as I start to blackout not sure who it is, or what it is, but I know for sure that they saved my life. When I wake up I realize that I'm tied up, and can't move, I can't see so I know I'm blindfolded I feel a rope around my mouth so I can't speak, I start to panic trying to figure out what happened to me, who took me, what they want, and what they may do to me. I hear foot steps and laughing coming close to me, the rope from my mouth is removed, then he spoke "How are you little one it's been along time since I last saw you." He started laughing again. In that moment I froze, recognized that voice anywhere. The one man I feared and hated the most in the entire world. It was my father.
