Not giving up

Emmett

Although i had been rejected i was not going to give up. I walk in glee practice and blink my eyes a few times seeing if i was seeing thing butt i wasn't. Leah, Anna, Brandon, and Lance all sat in glee seats along with the other kids, Kaitlyn, Eric, Aaron, Mandy,Emma, Jake, and Jason. "What the hell happened? " I ask. Mr. Shoe looks at me. "Yesterday after glee club they all walked in and asked to audition and since i can't come to the performance tonight we are gonna need all the help we can get." He explained. We all look at him thinking he is stupid. "I get having Brandon and lance but why the minions and their evil creator?" Kaitlyn asked. A few people snicker and i laugh which offended Rachel.
"Come on guys this is a better chance of us winning. " i say jumping out of my chair. They moan. "Maybe he's right."Jake says and smiles. "Yeah it would be cool to win."Emma agreed. "Plus more people may join, since we have cool kids now." mandy said. Kaitlyn made a weird face. "Are you guys serious? " Kaitlyn said. They all nod. "Come on don't you wanna win i mean don't we all love prizes i mean i know i will." I say. She frowns but gave up. "Thanks Emmett. Now lets start." Mr. Shoe says.

Kaitlyn

We all sit on the bus as we pull into Wellington high school. I look at Emmett and he smiles as i for some reason return one.

Emmett

I breath carefully as it's almost our turn. I stand backstage close to Kaitlyn. Here it goes. I get up and walk across stage. "What are you doing?, go back." She urges me. I shake my head no. "I don't get it . I'm practically begging you. Anyone would die to be with me. I could make you popular over night. I told you i loved you and you respond by saying i don't mean it. My Ex girlfriend is pregnant with who knows baby and i an here begging for another chance although i shouldn't of lost the first one. I mean what is so bad about falling in love with someone. I love you Kaitlyn and i don't care whi knows. Okay?" I say.

Kaitlyn

He just never stopped talking and I didn't know any other way so i got on my tippie toes and kissed him. He pulled me in by grabbing a hold of my back gently. He smiles at me but says nothing as he takes his spot.

Emmett

I breath before i sing.

Kaitlyn
Each morning i get up i die alone can barely stand on my feet.
I walk by her as she smiles taking my hand as i spin hrr holding her in my chest.
Oh take a look in the mirror and cry oh lord you do it to me.
I release her as i do our line up.
Kaitlyn sings
I spent all my time believing you i just can't get no more relief lord.

I finish holding Kaitlyn in my arms holding my chest. We smile as the crowd roars. We finish the other songs then get off the stage.

I breath as we walk on stage. I really wanted to win this. Not for me but for Mr. Shoe since he couldn't be here."As we all know everyone who participated was outstanding but only one team will leave here with a first place trophy. In third place The loud thunderbolts. In second the Wellington giants. " he says. We cut him off running to our first place trophy. I look at Emmett and smile and he returns one back.
