Chained Destiny

This is one of my stories that I write just for fun let me know what you think, and what I can do to improve it. =) But beware the beginning might suck, since it is the 'beginning'.

Chained Destiny

                It started out on a dark stormy night, with.... wait; wait; wait; that's how story books start out. This is a true story....

It all started out when I, Skiilar; tall, bright blue eyed, cute girl; with medium long rose red and black hair with blue highlights; moved from my hometown in England to across the sea. Where I ended up in a small town by a beach in Florida. I didn't know anyone. Didn't feel comfortable anywhere.

I figured out where almost everything in town was. I still don't know anyone. My mum and me moved here 2 weeks ago, and it's almost the start of a new school year. I think it sucks but I'll live out the summer with some fun. Maybe I'll try surfing, which every local here has known how to do; since they were babies.

Surfing sounds fun but me and salt water don't mix. I could meet people by surfing but what fun is that? Even though there are cute sufer boy teachers who will probably be more than willing to teach me how to surf. It's not worth letting my hair dry out just to learn how to surf.

Today is Friday and there is 3 weeks left of summer vacation. That means the start of the school year is about to begin. I need to get my tan on before school, so today I'll be at the beach all day tanning. When I get to the beach, the sun is starting to rise. There's a few surfers here, but that's it.

I lay out my chair put my towel on it, and set my alarm. I lay on my belly, put my earbuds in, close my eyes and wait until its time to turn. I turn a couple times more, until I'm on my belly again. I was starting to relax until I felt something icy cold on my back like liquad with ice.

"Oh! My! GAWD! That is flippin' cold!" I yelled with a thick english accent, and jumped up into a boy with an empty cup in his hand.
