Matthew Williams. A small French-Canadian whom excelled in hockey, was on his way to The U. S. A. His half brother named Alfred F. Jones was a famous musician. He had a band named "Der Genials" Which translated to The Awesomes from German. Matthew thought it sounded like The Genitals, but he didn't say anything. He only met Alfred a few times but knew he was a loving and carefree brother. The reason he was going to America was because their mother had died of heart failure and said in her will that she wanted Matthew to continue running her cafe. The cafe was called "Miel Doré" She had always loved France, so she opened up a French specialty cafe called Golden Honey, but the name was in French of course.

All of that was a week ago. Alfred still hadn't returned home from his tour, but he was there to get Matthew off the plane. He took Matthew home and showed him around the cafe and then lead him upstairs to the apartment that was above. The younger of the two thought the spaces were quite lovely and instantly knew he would enjoy it there.

Matthew woke up with a smile. He stretched his back until he heard a pop then lowered his arms to relax. The sun shown bright in the sky through his thin white curtains. He looked at his clock that hung on his wall, it was 6:47 a.m. Around the time he should get ready to open the cafe. The cafe opened at 8:30 a.m on the dot, so he wanted to make things extra nice every morning. He was usually a morning person so he didn't really need the use of an alarm clock. He walked from his bedroom, his glasses being forgotten on the nightstand as he slid on his red slippers.

He walked to the bathroom that resided in the hallway in front of Alfred's door, down the hall. Alfred rarely used his room because he was always on tour, or he just would rather stay at one of his band mate's house. He had met Matthias Kholer, the drummer, before. He was there when Alfred picked him up. Matthias had a boyfriend and lived with his boyfriend's cousin, adopted son, and husband. They used to have a teen which was Matthias's boyfriend's little brother, but he moved out to live with his boyfriend in Hong Kong.

That was how he knew Alfred wouldn't stay there. It sounded crowded and busy enough, so the only explanation was that Alfred hung out at the guitarist's house. He didn't know his name because he didn't really care for music so he didn't bother searching them up. He did know some songs though because he always played Alfred's station at 12:30 p.m for the lunch time rush.

Then it dawned upon him. Did Alfred have a boyfriend he lived with? He heard they had a manager around their age and was a 'Tsundere' not that Matthew knew what that was, but he heard Alfred talk about this manager a lot.

He sighed. He probably shouldn't stay focused too long on that topic. He didn't really care. He wanted to fulfill his mother's dying wishes. He could care less if Alfred became an asshole and ruined his life. He was happy how he was.

The blonde snapped out of his thoughts as he realized that the water had grown to be ice cold onto his skin. It didn't bother him much, but it still shocked him.

He hopped out of the shower and walked to his room, a red robe wrapped around him. He walked in and started to change into his clothes. It was late-fall in America, so he was happy he could wear sweaters and hoodies. He slipped on a puffy brown sweater that had dark brown maple leaves on it and snow. He put on blue skinny jeans that fit his figure quite nicely, then his dark brown boots that went to his ankle. Finally he slipped on a red, white, and brown hat that had a braid of wool on each side. The white was shaped like snow and the brown like reindeer. He definitely loved the colder weather.

He didn't need a hat on indoors, but he had to go shopping for pancake batter! Pancakes were certainly important! He put on his red wool gloves with scarf to match before heading outside.
