You felt sweat drip off your forehead as you stared at the computer screen at you payroll. Your stupid work put you in charge of pay roll this week, even though it was a fellow coworker's turn. Your eyes felt droopy and you had huge bags under your eyes. You heard your boyfriend's loud laughter come from his recording room and you smiled. He was the only one who make you laugh anymore. You felt hands wrap around your waist and turned around to see the goofy smile of your boyfriend.
"Hey baby. How is work going?" Jack asked as he lighty kissed your neck
"Same as usual." You rubbed your eyes and ran your fingers through your Y/C hair.
Jack removed his hands and started to pull at your hands.
"Jack! What do you want?!" You shouted out of frustration as his smile faded. He walked out of the room with tears in his eyes and you felt bad instantly. You turned off the computer and ran in the other room to see him with his hands covering his face.
"Jack look... I'm really sorry. I have just been so frustrated lately." You slowly walked over to him as he smiled wide and pulled you onto his lap.
"Gotcha!" You looked in total shock as he made a cute face.
"Cuddles, PLEASE!???" He begged you and you sighed and layed next to his side. You rested your head on his neck and inhaled hid fresh Irish scent. You listened to his heartbeat and your eyes started to close. Jack wrapped his hands around your waist and then noticed you were softly snoring. He then lifted you bridal style to your bedroom and placed you carefully under the cover. He kissed your head and softly whispered
"Sleep tight my little angel."
He walked out the door and quietly whispered for you to hear
"Never underestimate the power of a boss."
