(Y/N) sighed as she looked out of the living room window at the pouring rain and brightly striking lightning, exhaling shakily.
“Babe, come sit”
Harry said softly from the couch. His reassuring tone drew her to the empty spot next to him.
“Have you looked outside?”
(Y/N) sank into Harry anxiously, fearing the category 6 force of nature right outside of the very walls they called home. He sighed calmly and wrapped an arm around her. “We’ll be fine. We have something to distract us.”
He gestured toward the telly In front of them. She tried to breath calmly, placing her head on Harry’s chest and her hand was soon intertwined with his. She shivered from the cold atmosphere around them. This hurricane really had her shaken up. Her anxiety was almost getting the better of her.Harry leaned away from her and pulled his jumper off, exposing his bare chest. His tattoos were extremely defined in the glowing moonlight. He handed his jumper to her with a slight smile, sensing that she was cold.
“Here”.
She pursed her lips and half grinned at him.
“I’m not cold. I’m just anxious. That’s all.”
She knew she was cold. He knew she was cold. The storm had damaged their heating, making everything in the house as cold as it was outside.
“(Y/N), I know you’re freezing. Just take it.”
She hated when he used her full name. She took his sweater hesitantly at first then pulled it over her own. After pulling it over her head, she couldn’t help but notice how the light perfectly illuminated every toned feature of his upper body. She marveled at how perfect he was . She traced her index finger over the curved details of the swallows tattooed on his chest.
The flash of lightning and the almost immediate following if booming thunder, made (Y/N) jump. She gasped and began to lightly shake. “Harry..”
(Y/N) cuddled closer to Harry. “Harry I’m scared”.
She looked up at him with a worried expression.
“I’ll make you some chamomile tea”. Harry lightly smiled and gracefully slid off of the couch and made his way to the kitchen. (Y/N) watched him as he walked off into the next room, admiring his every move. She was more than appreciative to have him. Especially now. She hated storms and he was the only thing that could bring her comfort. She sat on the couch and tried to focus on the movie playing on TV but it was nearly impossible. She waited for a few minutes, her eyes fixed on the cable box that read 8:47pm. *click* The Telly, cable box, and every electrically powered item shut off. This scared (Y/N) and she couldn’t have been any more of a nervous wreck. She got up and walked toward the kitchen, approaching a shirtless Harry standing over a pot of hot water, stirring a small cup of tea. He looked up when he noticed her standing in the doorway. She walked up to him ad wrapped her arms around his waist, placing her cheek against his back. She sighed heavily “The electricity is out”.
She gently let go then leaned on the kitchen island as she watched him put two teaspoons of sugar in each cup. “That’s okay. We can entertain one another.”
He said with a light chuckle. She slightly giggled and blushed at his implication. He sat across from her at the kitchen island and sipped his tea. She ran her finger around the rim of her cup, in a failed attempt to calm herself. Harry reached across the island and placed his hand on her wrist gently. He smiled at her sweetly and spoke in a gentle tone. “I’ll give you a massage to help you relax”.
Her head popped up. She was a bit taken aback by his offer.
“That sounds really nice, actually.” Harry stood up, leaving his tea on the kitchen island and walked over to (Y/N)
