As he continued to pet me I heard a door open. I looked up to see a police officer running toward us yelling in his walkie talkie
"Hurry I need back up a jackal gone wild is attacking an officer
". I got of off nicks lap and growled at the officer. I then ran at the police officer when I saw him reach for his gun. "Y/N STOP" I heard nick yell. I stopped and looked back at him when a loud bang ran through the room. I whimpered as I felt pain cover my chest . I looked at nick with pain and tried to walk toward him but collapsed in the process. He then ran up to me with tears in his eyes. "Your ok your going to be ok everything is OK your gonna be fine just don't close your eyes help is on the way" he said but his voice sounded far away. Black dots covered my vision and I whimpered In pain. "I know ever thing hurts but the pain is going to go away soon I promise" he
said to me. I looked at him and licked his nose, layed my head on his lap and tried to keep my eyes open as I heard sirens get closer .
