"Look behind, Young Ji!" There it was again. For the past 2 weeks, the same voice has been whispering to me the same thing over and over again.

I actually turned to look behind for the first few days, but I always saw no one behind me. I gave up finding the source of the voice and decided to block it out.

Occasionally, I would hear a beautiful voice singing an unfamiliar tune, usually about butterflies, hearing how the voice would sing, "butterfly, like a butterfly, 마치 butterfly, bu-butterfly, 처럼~"

I admit, I love that voice, but not being able to find the source irritated me.

I rolled my eyes and continued walking home. Today was a pretty bad day, and I didn't want it to be ruined further by a voice with no source.

I looked down at the ground and kicked a pebble on the road. I didn't notice that a car was in my way, until that voice shouted, "Young Ji, look out!"

However, before I could react, I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me back toward the pavement.

I looked around for my saviour, only to find no one there. That's a first.

After the car sped past me and I recovered from the shock, I asked out loud to the weird voice I always heard, "was that you?"

There was no response. I sighed and crossed the road again, making sure that there were no cars this time.

I touched the part of my arm where I felt the thing touch me. Suddenly, I saw a flash of black behind me. I quickly turned around to face it. I stopped touching that part the moment I turned around, but all I saw when I looked behind was the road.

I grew very confused. What was that? It felt like there was a person behind me just now.

I pushed that thought out of my mind and unlocked my door. I immediately locked the door behind me and went into my bedroom.

I lay down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I reached my hand under my pillow and pulled out a necklace my Appa left me before he was gone.

My Eomma abandoned me when I was young, so I had no guardians after the age of 10, when my Appa left for good.

I touched the butterfly necklace lovingly and I felt my arm hurt. I held the part tightly and tried to bear the pain. It was unbearable at first, but it subsided when the flash of black came back.

This time, without loosing touch from my arm, I looked at it. I almost fell out of my bed. It was a man.

A very handsome man, I would say.

He had black fluffy hair, a very attractive eye smile, cute and chubby cheeks, and lastly, plump pinkish lips.

I steadied myself on the edge of the bed, careful not to fall off. I lost contact with my arm but the man still remained there.

"Now you know how I look. But don't be afraid, I'm not here to hurt you. Rather, I'm here to protect you." The man said.

I recognised that voice. It was the voice which I consistently heard in the past 2 weeks. The beautiful voice which sang the butterfly song.

"Who are you?" Was all I managed to say.

"I'm Park Jimin, your guardian angel. I'm here to protect you for these three years, since it's your most dangerous years." He said, not explaining further.

I was confused, so I tried to ask more about it. He refused to answer any of my questions.

Until one.

"Jimin, did you die?" I asked.

His expression hardened. He pressed his lips together and nodded slowly. It seemed to be a sensitive topic for him, so I stopped asking anything else.
