... Your P.O.V ....

Gotham's weather was just as usual. Cloudy with a high chance of heavy rain. How did I know that? Easy, I just look at the sky. And I may or may not have seen the weather broadcast. Plus, the air and shades was giving it away. Like, obviously. But never mind, it never bothered me anyway.

I slid my hands to my (F/C) hoodie and continued my walk back home. The courses I've been taking was actually quite fun, but still exhausting as well. After my move to this town, the courses was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. My first friend at this very city, got a scholarship to a fancy new school. My favorite book somehow disappeared from my room. And my phone charger just broke. So yeah, the courses was the best thing that came out from moving to Gotham.

I snap out of my thoughts, realizing that the sky was getting darker and darker. I shook my head and began to walk faster. Remembering what my parents had told me. It's a simple sentence really, but it change my viewpoint of the night. Back at my small hometown, the night was the best part. The stars shining, the moon illuminated the dark sky, sometimes my friends and I just go to a field, lie around and stare at the sky.

But in this city? I barely got the time, place, or much less a permission to go outside when it's dark. "It's dangerous" they said to me, that's the sentence they've been rambling around since the day we arrived. I usually hold my chuckle at their warnings. Even if the night was actually dangerous, there are heroes in this city! Batman and his partner, so surely the criminals won't just show up-

'tap tap tap'

Footsteps.

Those are definitely the sounds of footsteps. Heavy footsteps. I took a little glance to see a burly man walking just a couple of meters away from me. Questions quickly flooded my mind. Could it be a thug? A kidnapper? Joker's goons? Agh! I'm overreacting. It can't be a criminal.... Right? I shrugged and decided to quicken up my pace, just to make sure. If it's just a pedestrian, the footsteps won't try to catch up.

And........ I'm doomed.

The footstep's not only quicken up, but it's also getting closer. I made a turn and cursed in my head. The footsteps still trailing behind me.

Suddenly, a cold and rough hand covered my mouth. It yanked me to a dead end alley. I let out a muffled scream, hands scratching my kidnapper's. He pulled me close and whispered harshly to my ear, sending a bit of chills down my spine "Shut up, give me your money, or else." Adrenaline rushed through all of my body. But nonetheless I obeyed, slowly putting my hands down. He chuckled and loosened his grip. My eyes flashed in reaction.
