It was a good day. The gray, sad clouds in the sky were gone, and the sun was shining, bright and bold. The light blinded me and my hand flew to my eyes to shield them. People were walking their dogs with bright smiles. There was a very loud crash and I heard people screaming, saw the blood dripping down my arms. I looked down and around, scared. My alarm system sounded and it all went away in a flash. I jumped and looked around, panting. I calmed down realizing I was just in my bedroom and walked over to my vanity. My calendar hung on the wall beside and it was the day I dreaded the most, the first day of school. Today was the day when friends reunited and blank pages were formed. Everybody was happy; I mean who wouldn't be it's a fresh start, a new year. Here's the problem. I'm a girl who's been to a public school for only two year. Those two years just happened to be in middle school. In my old town. My brother on the other hand has been going to public school since he was young, here in the city. He stayed with my father. Whenever he died, mom and I moved away from our small town and came here to be with my brother.

7:30, I rushed to my closet doors, pulling them open and scanning the little clothing I had. Finally, I decided and took out a pair of ripped jeans and a loose fit tee. As I ran out the house I grabbed my shoes near the door and slipped them on quickly, managing to put my frizzy hair in a braid in the process. My brother ran out with my mom following behind him like a turtle. She got in the car and my brother began to argue with me about "front seat rules". I need my own car, I'm 17 and my mom still drops me off at school. However my brother is 18 and still doesn't have one either. When we arrived mom wished us luck and drove off.
My brother blew me a kiss, wishing me luck and walked off with friends. I walked into the office and collected my class schedule. People sorta scared me, and at the moment there were so many. Then it happened. Boom.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, I'm new here and It's so,"

"Whatever, get lost"

I took in the guy's facial features and rushed to my first class, deciding not to worry about it. As the crowds decreased, the bell rang and I panicked. My class was in sight and I let out a sigh of relief.

Opening the door was easy but walking in was like climbing up Mount Everest. All eyes were on me and I was at a loss for words. Fear filled my body.

"I'm new here, couldn't find the class. I apologize"

"Take a seat newbie"

I walked over to the desk in the back with a trip on the way. Laughs were heard from every direction in the room.
When I felt the cold chair under me I let out a breath that I didn't even realize I was holding.

"First me, now the desk?" I turned to look at the boy speaking and quickly realized who he was.

"You didn't have to be so rude" I whispered nervously

"Why are you so nervous? Get over it, I understand you're new but,"

"I've never been here and I'm nervous. Now can you shut up?"

"Ouch"

I rolled my eyes at his laughing and opened my book, flipping it to the correct page. I got through a few minutes of silence until a paper ball flew in my direction. I looked at the owner. She was holding a cheeky smile and a pink pen with a huge fur ball at the top, motioning for me to open her crumbled letter.
