Is it possible to have a song in your head while you're in a coma? Well, I have one that keeps replaying itself in my mind. Ironically, it's called "Coma" by Issues. Out of all of the songs in this universe, that song had to be stuck in my head. I mainly have the chorus running through my mind:

"I wanna be all you think about
Anything and everything you dream about
As if I had it all figured out
I wanna be the one you can't breathe without"

It's my favorite song. The lyrics are pure perfection. I love the meaning behind them. It's like the singer is letting out all of his emotions to a girl, spilling his affection and love to her. I know he's not doing that, but everybody has different perspectives on how they comprehend the song.

Even though the song hasn't been out for an entire month, I'm addicted to it. I play it every single day. I can sing the entire song out loud. I don't even need background music whenever I sing it. The instruments play as background noise inside of my mind.

Is it bad that I memorized the lyrics less than twenty-four hours? I'd like to call it dedication and talent because not a lot of people can do that.

My door opens, revealing Father, Mother, and China. Father holds the door out for the women, letting them in first. China heads to the chair she was sitting in yesterday. Mother walks to China and stands behind her. Father shuts the door and walks toward my bed. He rests himself on the edge of my bed.

"Father, get off of Mango's bed!" China hissed.

Father scratches his stubble, frowning. "Don't tell me what to do."

"Honey, you're sitting on her feet." Mother chuckled.

China points at my feet, which are resting under Father's butt.

"Oh!" Father gasped, jumping up. His apologetic eyes go to my face. "Mango, please forgive me. I didn't mean to sit on you."

You're forgiven, Father. My mind chuckled.

Again, I wish I could say this out loud.

Being in a coma sucks.

Mother lays a hand on Father's shoulder. "Too bad she can't hear you."

I frown.

I can hear him! And I can hear you! I can hear all of you! I just can't, well, physically prove it to you guys because I'm not able to go to my body at the moment...

"I know we just got here, but I'm going to go get something to eat." China announced, standing up. "Do you guys want anything?"

Father joins China's side. "I'll come with you. I want something, but I'm not sure what."

I laugh.

China rolls her eyes. "Whatever, Father. Mother, do you want anything?"

"I'm good, but thanks. I'm going to head to the restroom." Mother answered, walking to my bathroom in my room.

Father and China walk out of my room, closing the door behind them.

I sigh sadly.

I wish I could be with them right now instead of laying in this hospital bed. I have some people to talk to - cough, MJ, cough - and catch up on my school work.
