Kabane world (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress)

The peoples fate

Black smoke entered the station with the speed of a hayajiro, moving over the walls.

Daichi POV-

What?! where is the sound of that screaming coming from. I looked towards my left. The unspeakable had just happened, and it was looking right at me, this colony of Kabane tilted its head at me. Even after it yelled my ears were still ringing, everything in my body told me to run.

Izumi! We have to ru..... Izumi, Izumi!! He was already bitten by the roaming kabanes in the station, lookking at me with his cold eyes he whispered his sisters name. 

K...kaiya,protect Kaiya, Daichi.

I knew what I had to do, but at the same time I needed to find my brothers and sisters, they  were probably heading to the hayajiro with my mom so i took the chance, and ran to Izumi's house.

Kaiya, and Izumi were twins, so I knew them well, me and Izumi were going to become steam smiths, or engineers for a hayajiro next year, I guess that will never happen now.

As I reach his house I see the colony of kabane to the north of the station, ripping apart and going through the buildings, Kaiya just came from an alleyway running towards the house.

Kaiya we need to go. she replied with I can't just leave without Izumi... why isn't Izumi with you Daichi.
