Kabane world (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress)

Kabane World

it was like the night, swarming over me, but I guess my time wasn't up because for some reason I got up, and with the last bit of strength in my body I ran, to a gap in the wall I saw earlier, I don't know but somehow I made it, and the colony didn't seem like it wanted to climb over to get me, oh well at least I can now rest. I hadn't planned on sleeping for as long as I did,I guess it can't be helped now, the sun was already starting to appear. Apparently kaiya had found me outside of the walls while waiting for the hayajiro.

"Thank you Kaiya" I whisper as my eyes slowly close. We were on the hayajiro named Husoujyo , they were heading to Aragane Station. When I woke up, me and kaiya decided to explore the Husoujyo a bit, we ran into others from our station, Eito was one of them, he used to read a lot back in the station, his father was one of the bushi that was on this hayajiro, I knew him because we used to play when we were kids, and if he was here then Mao was here too, she was a quiet person, she didn't like to talk much, but when she did it was about ether a book, or an invention she would work on with Eito.  

I guess they had the same idea as us to wait for a hayajiro, then I remembered. Did my family get on the hayajiro that was taken by the colony or are they here.

"Kaiya I'm going to look around to see if my family is around, I'll be back here soon" Turning around I asked my self, if I was going to tell her, that.... I quickly stopped my train of thought, I couldn't. There was too much that already happened, with losing the station and all, but I should right? no. 

Suddenly the hayajiro started to speed up, people who were standing were flung back, then I saw the kabane.

"H...How are the kabane here!"

I heard someone yell, by now we all had already started to run to the back of the hayajiro, everyone screaming, running over and by each other, this was the end of this hayajiro. The bushi on the Husoujyo were even running, one of them ended up dropping their steam gun. I knew what I had to do.

swiftly grabbing the gun and seeing a kabane, I shot. The kabane was knocked back into the crowd of others that was now there. The Kabane made a screeching yell as they saw another one fly back. No one was operating the hayajiro anymore. I saw my brother in the hoard of kabane, he had already turned. I couldn't move anymore, I was shaking at the sight of my brother, then I saw my sister there too. I had completely shut down, then kaiya grabbed me by the hand pulling me towards the back.

"Daichi, sorry but we have to go." she said. 

I looked away dropping the steam gun as I did.
