As I was deep in my thoughts I heard my phone vibrate I knew right away it was kayla.

Kayla: "come on we gotta go!"

"Alright I'm coming." I replied back still really nervous to go to the party. As I opened the door to outside I told my mom I was leaving and would be back later. She didn't reply so I just walked out the door.

Once I got in the car kayla just had to say something.

"Well aren't you a cute little nerd with your dress." She grined at me

"Be quiet and just drive." I said alittle annoyed I hate when people call me a nerd.

"Your a little feisty tonight aren't you?" She said while laughing at me.

By the time I knew it we were at Harry's house it was huge! I gasped a little I never really seen a house this big before, since we live in a little house because that's all my mom can afford.

"Its huge huh?" Kayla said since she heard me gasp.

"Ye- yeah." I sttadered still a little surprised.

"All right lets go little cowgirl" she said after she toke the keys out the egnition.

"Whatever punk rocker." Oops bad come back I'm really bad at that.

"Great come back ab!" She said in a sarcastic voice.

Once we got into the house it was already full with teenagers drunk. Go figure! When I turned around to talk to Kayla she wasn't behind me. Just great she left me with a bunch of drunk asses! I saw the kitchen and decided to get my self a drink. Just one won't matter would it?

Once I reached the kitchen there was a lot of empty bottles on the counter and people making out! I never knew how to make out well I never even kissed anyone.

The ambience was disgusting; It was hot and sweaty. Many bodies danced on each other in a very desperate manner, a way of showing 'affection' I suppose.

I wasn't even sure how Kayla convinced me to come, I could have done something else rather than spend my time on a party full of drunks and high people. I will admit this though, it was very very amusing. The way how they chugged down all the booze they could without choking on it was quite impressive. if it were me in there place I wouldn't last a second. I couldn't even drink to save my life.

"Lighten up, will you?" Kayla orders me. "This is a party Abby, let loose for once."

I sighed, she was right. I never was one to party. I was used to staying cooped up at home, reading sappy love books while eating popcorn, not drinking and dancing till my legs fall off. I hated this kind of stuff. Parties. They were so nasty and puke provoking, really. I nearly gagged when I saw a couple in a very heated make out session in the very dark corner.

How charming.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I hear Madison, sneer. "I'm pretty sure Harry didn't invite you." she spits out in disgust.

It takes me a couple of seconds to realize that she is, in fact, talking to me.

"Maddy, chill. She's with me." Kayla tells her.

She raises one of her perfect eyebrows, "Whatever. Just don't kill the vibe around here, okay?"

"Don't worry about it." I respond.

"Goodbye Kayla. Abigail, don't let me see you around here again." and just like that she disappears from our sight. I let out another exasperated sigh, something I've been doing since we had arrived.

I hated Madison. I hated with a passion. Why? I don't even know. But what I do know is that she hates me twice as much, if not more. Everything about her is so... so infuriating. How she walks, how she talks, how she dresses. The slightest of thing she did, no everything she did was sickening. She always threw herself on boys.

"Kayla can we-" I stopped mid sentence. What the hell?!

Keep calm Abby, I told myself, she'll be back.

After a few minutes of finally realizing that she wouldn't actually return, I made it my mission to find her.

I started to walk away from the wall we were leaning on. Where is she? Was the only thing going through my mind.

I maneuvered my way through the sweaty and stinky bodies, desperate to find my best friend. It was so unlike her to just poof away, she would normally tell me if she was going somewhere.

When I finally reached back garden I gasped for air. The air around here was lighter than the thick atmosphere inside of the house. It may have been big but it was extremely suffocating. It was less crowed here, many people were either talking or taking a swim in the also abnormally large pool.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. All hope and excitement was gone when I saw Madison instead of Kayla.

"I believe I told you to not let me see you here again."

I was about to apologize when I felt the ground disappear from under my feet.

She had pushed me into the pool.

When I finally submerged from the water all I heard was laughter. People were cheering on her, congratulating her even for doing what she did.

The only thing I did was get out of the stupid pool and ran as fast as could out of that place.
