Chapter 17
HANNAH'S P.O.V**
I woke up to a lump of blankets beside me. I remembered Gemma at my house. I looked at the time and remembered today was Monday. The clock in my phone said 6:35. I got up fast and hit Gemma with a pillow and screamed "GET THE HELL UP! ITS
MONDAY WE HAVE SCHOOL! ITS 6:30 GET THE HELL UP TO GET READY!" She sprung up from the bed and ran over to her bag.
"Dammit! My clothes are at my house! I'll see you later bye!" and she ran out of y room and I heard the front door oped and close. I ran to my closet and grabbed a tie dyed t-shirt and some black skinny jeans. I threw my clothes on and ran into the bathroom. I brushed my hair and teeth and put my hair into a ponytail and ran down the stairs. I grabbed my backpack and my keys and an apple and started my drive to school.
I ate my apple and got to school. School started at 7:30 for us and it takes me awhile to get ready so I got to school just in time for the tardy bell. 'Great' i thought and walked through the empty hallway to my locker and grabbed my stuff for my first 5 periods. I shut my locker and went to my class.
I walked in and everyone looked at me when the door opened. They looked at me like
I murdered someone. I have them a 'what-the-hell-you-staring-at' look and walked to my desk.
"Miss Drake, I see you decided to join us today." Mrs. D said.
"Sorry ma'am, i woke up late."
"Ok, but if it happened again, i will have to give you detention." I never had detention before so everyone in the class went 'ooooooo'. I looked around and when the teacher wasn't looking I held my middle finger in the air above me head and put it back down. 'People should not mess with me this week' i thought to myself because i was on my period. When I'm on it i get so cranky so hopefully no one messes with me.

I was putting my stuff into my locker when someone wrapped there arms around my waist. I was shocked and turned around and relaxed when i saw it was Harry. he let go and leaned against the locker beside mine.
"So Hannah, Haw about we ditch lunch and go get some real food?"
"What? Harry I never ditched before! What happens if we get caught?" i asked kind of panicked. I was telling the truth though, i never ditched and was never late to school until today.
"We just get detention for a day or two. Come-on! It will be fun! And i will try to be back before next period. Please?" he asked and gave me puppy-dog eyes.
"Fine but I don-" i was cut off by Harry shutting my locker for me and dragging me out of the school when no one was looking.
We went to his car and he opened the door for me. "Well thank you." i said and sat down. He jogged over to the other side and sat down. I put my seat belt on and Harry mirrored my actions before starting the car.
He started driving and after about ten minutes of driving we came to a stop. I looked out the window of the car and saw we were at a Stake'n'Shake. I loved this place because they have the best milkshakes here.
"Oh Harry i love this place!" i exclaimed as i hopped out of the car which Harry opened for me, again.
"So do I! I love there milkshakes here!"
"Thats why I like this place!"
"Ok lets go get some food and a milkshake then, love!"
"Ok" I started to drag him in and he just laughed.
"Table for two please" Harry said politely to the waitress and she grabbed two menus and walked to a booth. I looked around and saw a lot of collage student together. 'They must be on a vacation this week' I thought to myself, well at least i thought i did.
"Yeah this week is a vacation week for collage students." Harry said.
"I said that out loud?"
He smirked at me "Yes, yes you did."
I blushed a deep crimson color and looked down.
"I-I didn't mean t-to." I stuttered. Harry lifted me chin up so i was looking into his eyes and said "Don't look down when you blush, i think its cute when you blush."
I blushed even more, and smiled.
He took his hand away and asked me what I was going to get.
"I don't know yet. How about you order for me while i go to the bathroom?"
"Sure love, don't miss me too much while your gone."
"Your so cheesy but i won't" i said and walked to the bathroom.
I got done in the bathroom and walked out and sat across from Harry.
"So what did you order me?"
He looked over and said "you have to see." he smiled at me and a waitress set down in front of me a double chocolate milkshake and a chicken sandwich. She set down in front of Harry the same think but his milkshake was strawberry, with chocolate in the middle.
"Awe, how did you know i liked double chocolate, Harry?"
"Well, girls usually like chocolate so I got you that." he smiled at me.
"Thanks." i smiled back and we dug in.

We got back to school and it was almost last period! I ran into the school and got my books for last period and took off running there. I opened the door and everyone looked at me. I started to walk to my seat when the teacher said "Miss Drake, you are wanted in the office." I nodded and turned around and walked down the silent hallway, expecting to be suspended or given detention
I walked in and the principal told me to take
a seat, which i did.
"So i understand you ditched your 7th and 8th period classes, am I right?"
"Y-yes but-"
"No buts about it, i am giving you detention for 1 hour tonight and tomorrow after school and I will call your mom and tell her about you skipping those classes."
"Ok but please don't call my mom! She'll ground me for life!" i begged but he shook his head and dismissed me.

I walked into the detention room and saw Harry there with some other people i didn't know and say beside Harry. the desks had 2 people at each so I sat with him. He looked me and passed me a paper and put his arm around my waist protectively, because I'm sure he saw some other boys look at me and other girls scoff at me and look away.
The note said
'Hannah,
I'm so sorry i got you in this mess, i didn't think we would get caught, I'm very very sorry Hannah! Please don't be mad at me?
Harry Xx'
I looked him and smiled. I whispered in his ear, "its ok i just hope my mom don't rant on me for this" i said and laughed quietly. Harry chuckled and brought me close to him. I was tired so i fell asleep on his shoulder.

"Hannah, wake up love, its time to leave."
I took my head off of Harrys shoulder and looked around, i remembered i had detention an my mom would be pissed when i got home.
"Come on, I'll walk you to your car." Harry said and pulled me up off the seat.
"Ok" I said and he turned around expecting me to follow, but instead I jumped in his back. He almost fell from the surprising impact but he stayed on his feet. He set his hands on my thighs to help my stay up and he walked out of the school. He walked to my car and he dropped me on the ground. I glared up at him and he was smirking at me. He helped my up cuz when i was so rudely dropped, I tripped and landed on my ass.
"Your so mean." i said giving him my best pouty five year old face.
"You love me anyway" he said and hugged me. I hugged back. I felt so safe in his arms, i was sad when he let go so he could go home but i live across the road so it wasn't a far walk to see him. We said goodbye and i started my car and drove back home.

When i arrived home, i turned my car off and slowly walked to the front door. Before i could touch the nob, the door swung open. My mother stood there with an angry expression on her face.
"Hi mom" I said as I brushed past her and into the house. I walked into the kitchen and she followed.
"So, i got a call from your school today." 'Oh great here it comes' i thought to myself. "And the principal told me that you skipped a few classes, and that you are suspended for three days, care to explain?"
"Harry-" i was cut off by her scoffing.
"Hannah, i thought you didn't like that boy? He seems nice but I am not to fond of you hanging out with him all the time."
"Anyway, before i was so rudely interrupted, There wasn't anything foot to eat at school, so Harry took me out to eat. we were gone longer then expected."
"Well why did you go out anyway? Your not meant to leave the school grounds until it has ended. I want your phone for a week and you will stay in your room for 1 week and studying. The only place you may go for 2 weeks in to school and back. You will get you phone after 1 week in you behave and i want you to never go out with that boy again. Do you understand me?"
"MOM! THATS SO UNFAIR! IT WASN'T OUR FALT WEGOT BACK LATER THEN EXPECTED!"
"I DON'T CARE TOUNG LADY! GIVE ME YOUR PHONE AND GO STRAIGHT TO YOU ROOM!"
We were both just talking loudly, almost yelling but not quite.
"YOUR RUINING MY LIFE! I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU ANYMORE! HERE IS MY PHONE, I'M GOING TO DO WHAT I WANT!"
"NO YOU WILL NOT! GO TO YOUR ROOM. NOW!"
I was almost in tears. "FINE! I HATE YOU!" And with that i angrily stomped up the stairs and opened and slammed shut my door. I fling myself on my bed, crying. "Damn hormones" i muttered quietly and just laid there, face down on my bed.
I heard a knock in my window. I furrowed my eyebrows and pulled back the curtains and say Harry standing there. I smiled to myself and opened the window.
"Hey Hannah, I know your grounded, I heard the shouting, but want to go somewhere for a little while to get you mind off of things?"
"Sure" I smiled an jumped off the roof. quietly made my way, following Harry to his motorcycle, and got on it. and We spud away from the houses, me not caring we went, as long as i was away from my mom for a while.
