How Channing Tatum Became My Boyfriend

Chapter One

Ryan's POV

It was December of 2012, it was New Year's Eve in New York City and I had to rush to Times Square because I had to rehearse my set list for the big show! The reason I had to rush was because it was a Thursday and that means it's a 2 show day on Broadway.

Oh yea I forgot to introduce myself my name is Ryan and im 19 years old I have short brown hair, brown eyes and yes im the one that showed everyone in the Broadway community and the world that guys can play women roles as well and I won 7 Tony Awards for it!

The show that im currently starring in is Roundabouttheater company's production of Cole Porter's Anything Goes at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. I took over the lead role of Reno Sweeney because the actress (Sutton Foster) who opened the show had to fly to Hollywood to film a TV pilot so I got the part. I was only to star in the show for a few months but Sutton's pilot stuck so I took over the role permanently.

When I got to Times Square I rushed up on stage they knew I was in a rush so they quickly tapped the little microphone to my cheek, The songs I have to sing are the title song from Anything Goes, A Holly Jolly Christmas, This Christmas, Let it Snow, All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The host of the show was none other than Channing Tatum. I was fangirling so bad on the inside! Because it Channing Tatum the sexist man in the world and big time movie star, but I had to act perfectly normal so he wouldn't think I was weird or something.

Once he introduced me the music began and I sang my heart out as usual. Once I was done singing my set list they said for everyone to take a ten minute brake so I walk off stage panting and out of breath. Channing was standing on the ground talking to someone while looking at me as I was walking off stage when I tripped over a wire and fell off the side of the 10 foot high stage and everyone screamed, I just closed my eyes tight expecting a hard blow to the back but they next thing I know someone caught me, I look up and its none other than Channing Tatum himself! I thanked him and he put me back on my feet.

"You have an AMAZING voice! I've seen Anything Goes 7 times on Broadway and I'm coming to see it tonight!" he told me while blushing. It was then that the manager of the New Year's show came over with my costume and ruined the moment, it was a nice black tux with a blue bow tie "I hope Channing likes this" I thought to myself but I was brought back to reality by Channing "You'll look great in that" he said with a grin on his face

"And there has been a change Channing has to walk you on stage and introduce you, you also have to sing the final song of your set list (All I Want for Christmas Is You) to him." the manager said.

"Oh and you're going to be late for your show if you don't get back to the theater now! And I'll see you tonight" he said while I was walking away but not before he shouted

"WAIT...I was just wondering could I...uhm maybe...have your number? And would you like to... uhm like to go to dinner with me sometime?" he asked while his face flushed bight red.

I told him I thought he was straight and he told me that "I don't like to put labels on things" so I gave him my number and told him I'd see him at tonight show and that was it.
