why do you care?

*fast forward to 2 weeks after Lilly blacked out*

*Scott McCall's P.O.V* (yaaaaaaaaaaaa finally) 

Me and stiles were walking to his locker. He was talking about how I could try and control my powers so I won't try to kill anyone. But I stopped listening when I saw her.

The girl I fell for when I first saw her when I first talked to her. She made me happy when ever she would talk. I couldn't help but smile when I see her smile. But it hurts me to see her sad or hurt.  Through all of the cuts and bruises on her delicate skin. She always managed to come to school with a smile whether it's fake or not she manages to get through it.

Her name was

Lilly Lahey.

I heard someone say my name and it snapped me out of my daydream.

"Scotty did you hear a word I jus-"

stiles stopped talking looked were I was looking and quickly grabbed my arm and dragged me into a empty room.

"what the hell stiles! What are you freaking out about!"

I have no clue why it made me mad but it did.

"Hey uh Scotty calm down alright. I have a good explanation for why I dragged you away. "

"What do you mean?"

I was confused about what he was talking about.

"ummm..."

" WHAT IS IT STILES! " He started to get on my nerves.

"YOUR EYES STARTED TO GLOW WHEN YOU WERE LOOKING AT LILLY. I TRIED TO TELL YOU BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN. " he said in a panic.

I quickly pulled out my phone and looked at my reflection. And there it was glowing eyes staring back at me. I quickly calmed my self down and got my eyes back to normal.

*Fast forward to chemistry*(don't judge my laziness 😝)

I walked into chemistry. I scanned the room for some were to sit. I found a spot and took a seat next to Lilly.

"Hey Lilly."

I saw that she looked a little panicked,scared and in pain. I put my hand on hers and she jumped a little. Then looked at are hands and then up at me.

"s-scott. "

"you OK Lilly?"

while I said that I looked into her eyes. I couldn't look away.

"y-you were bit to." that took me by surprise.

"h-how did yo-" I was cut of when the teacher walked in. Class started and I kept glancing over at her. We were all taking notes when we heard something hit the window. We all looked over and saw a bird had hit the window

"what the... "

Lydia started but was cut of by more birds hitting the window. The window shattered and birds flew in every were.  Me and Lilly quickly dove under the desk. I threw my arm over her and pulled her closer to me. Everyone was screaming and trying to swat away birds. I managed to get a glance at stiles. He was trying to shield Lydia from the birds. I looked back down to an almost unconscious Lilly. She had a bloody gash on her forehead and she looked horrible. She was trying to stay awake even though it was hard she was managing.

About 10 minutes later the birds stopped coming and we all stood up. Stiles helped Lydia to her feet. And I helped Lilly. 

"you alright? "I asked softly.  I did not want to talk to loudly because she might have a concussion.

"yeah I-i think so." she put her hand to her wound.

"come on let's get you some help."

"yeah...ok. "I rapped my arm around her waist and put her arm around my neck. We walked out and I saw officer Stilinski glance over. He quickly excused himself and ran over.

" What happened...Lilly were have you been? That took me by surprise.

"what do you mean she's been with Isaac... Hasn't she? "

"Scott...  She was missing for 2 weeks. Isaac doesn't know she is here. "

I was in complete shock and confusion about were she was.

" ISAAC, HEY, YA COME HERE." He yelled I could see Lilly flinched in pain from the loud noise. Isaac came walking over but froze when he saw her. He snapped back to reality and took of running to Lilly and scooped her into his arms.

Oh my God, Lilly were have you been, w-w-why didn't you come back. He was crying now and so was Lilly.

" I was with Derek Hale... He said I was different and he did not want me to turn and kill anyone."

I instantly got pissed and felt like killing Derek. I now knew how she could tell I got bit. It was because she was bit to. Officer Stilinski already left so I quickly said what was on my mind.

"Derek gave you the bite didn't he."

Lilly and Isaac looked at each other then Lilly spoke up.

" ya Derek bit us but it was Isaac's idea not mine...we were being... Let's just say 'attacked' at home so Isaac did what he thought would help...even without letting me have a say in this."

I felt myself walk up to Isaac and grabbed a hold of his shirt and said

"you told Derek to bite her? YOUR OWN SISTER!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH DANGER YOU JUST PUT HER IN!?"

...

" why do you care?"

was all she said. it went quiet so I let go of Isaac.

"because of you...you care about everyone else but...not yourself."

a tear ran down her cheek.

"your the reason why I care Lilly...just you."

she smiled a little but her smile faded quickly and turned to a pained expression. Then she blacked out I caught her limp body in my arms and Isaac yelled for help.

Lilly's P.O.V

Why does this keep happening to me?
