Clexa (The 100) Fanfiction

By: Marie & Cat

*This story is a replica of an episode from The 100 (3x7) in which Lexa is killed. We're adding a twist to it.*

Clarke:

I want to stay with Lexa forever. She feels like home- like wherever I am, as long as I'm with her, I'm safe. When she holds me, it's like the shattered fragments of myself caused by every regretful thing I have done, every person I have killed, are being put back into place.

She broke me- but now, she's fixing me, and I'm grateful.

Hours seem like minutes with her, as our limbs tangle together, skin on skin, hearts in hands. She is warm, and I know leaving will be cold.

But Octavia will be as well if I don't show up. This is what's best for everyone. I need to do this- for my people, and for Lexa's.

She says she'll meet me outside after getting dressed, to say our goodbyes. I prepare myself, before exiting through the doorway of her bedroom.

When I enter the room, I find Murphy tied up in the corner, a scrap of red fabric gagging his mouth to keep him quiet. I stop and stare at him for a second, trying to comprehend what's going on, before moving toward him.

"Murphy?" I breathe as I run forward, my eyebrows furrowed. I crouch down beside him to remove the chains that are detaining his body.

"He's alive," Titus speaks as he shows himself from the other side of the room. I stare at him for a moment, before the realization hits me.

"What did you do to my friend?" I whisper angrily, my blood curdling.

"Your friend was caught stealing from people on their way to the Polis market," he explains, his hands resting suspiciously behind his back.

Murphy groans slightly as he moves his head.

"Hey, you're okay," I tell him, positioning his head upright and reaching to untie the red gag.

"Please don't do that," Titus commands sternly, holding his hands out to reveal a gun in his fingers. My heart pounds in my chest, and I immediately stop moving.

I drop my hands from my friend's face, raising them to signify my surrender. "Titus, what is this about?" I ask, keeping my voice steady to hide my fear as I slowly rise to my feet.

"I'm sorry it had to come to this, Clarke. Truly, I am," he tells me, obviously lying, slowly stepping toward Murphy and I.

Shaking my head desperately, I speak quickly. "I'm leaving, right now. Octavia is waiting for me, just let me take Murphy and we'll go."

"Wish I could." He snaps, slowly raising the gun, "Lexa will never execute her duty while you live." The gun is now aimed at my head. I notice Murphy is slowly waking up.

"Hey, just think," I splutter, "she's gonna know it was you."

"She'll think it was him," he raises his voice and gestures the gun at Murphy who now seems to be awake. "Skaikru weapon," he raises the gun, "in the hands of a Skaikru thief." I keep my hands raised and try not to express the fear that is silently attacking me. "She might even be angry enough to declare war!" Titus shouts, pulling the trigger as he hollers the last word.

The bullet glides through the air, and I duck, dodging it swiftly, the sound of metal clashing echoing throughout the room. Leaving Murphy, I run to grab a wooden chair, using all of my strength to throw it at him. I succeed with my aim, and he falls to the ground from the impact while I bolt for the bedroom. He twists his body toward me, aiming carelessly and firing. The bullet misses me- but to my despair, it doesn't miss Lexa, who has just entered from the doorway.
