Natsu's POV

I wake up the next day alone in mine and Lucy's room, I was not allowed to stay with her last night, no partners are allowed to stay. It makes sense a little, I go straight to see Lucy. I sit there for about 5 minutes.

Natsu?
Lucy? LUCY YOUR AWAKE!

I run outside.

EVERYONE LUCY IS AWAKE, SHE IS ALIVE.

I run back in to my girlfriend.

Hey, how you feeling?
I'm a bit sore, sorry I didn't win the match.
It doesn't matter as long as your ok that's all that matters.

Natsu I think you would rather stay here today and make sure Lucy is ok, am I correct?
If that's ok gramps.
No problem, Juvia will you stand in for Natsu
Of course. Great well we best get going.

They all walk out.

So could you hear anything being said when you were unconscious.
Yeah.

Well we will just have to see if we win now won't we.

I kiss her head and stay with her all day, a few hours later Gray walks in. He looks hurt.

Well?
It was a hard battle.

And...... WE WON

Me, Lucy, Elfman and everyone else start cheering, then I look at Lucy.

Lucy?
Yes Natsu?
You know what this means, I made a promise and I'm a man who sticks to my promises.

I get down on one knee, I had made a makeshift ring out of some foil, I didn't really have time to get a real one.

Lucy Heartfilia, will you do me the honour of becoming Lucy Dragneel.
Yes, Natsu I'd love too.

I put the ring on her finger then kiss her. Later that night we are all once again celebrating in a bar, obviously some party less as they still have a couple injuries. I get up on a table.

Everyone can I have your attention please. I just wanna say we did it, I knew we would but, knowing all we have been through during this competition and we still managed to come out on top all I have to say is.... FAIRYTAIL ARE THE BEST.

Everyone cheers, I then see Lucy and gesture at her to come over, I pull her up on the table.

And i also wanted to say yesterday when Lucy was unconscious, I said to her if she woke up I promised we would win the games, which we did, then I said if we win the games, I Natsu Dragneel would ask Lucy to marry me.

Everyone is shocked.

So today when we found out I got down on one knee and asked her.... And she said yes.

Everyone starts to cheer even more we have people coming up and congratulating us. This is the greatest night ever. The next day is a ceremony for the winners, it's wonderful we go an receive our trophy. Then that night the King holds a grand ball. It's the one time where we forget about what went on between everyone and have a laugh.

Lucy's POV

At the ball I feel someone come and tap me on the shoulder.

Hi.
Hi, you may not no us but we are the remaining Sabertooth members, and we just wanted to say we are so sorry for what Minerva did to you.
It's fine, I'm ok now.
I know but we should have stopped it before it got so bad.
Honestly it's ok, she actually did me a favour.
What?
Well because of it Natsu ended up asking me to marry him.
Really, well that's great news congratulations.

The night goes on and I see Nastu and Gray disappear outside. I follow them.

Grays POV

Congratulations buddy, on you and Lucy.
Thanks, I never asked you if it was ok.
You don't have to worry about asking me if its ok, me and Lucy are friends, you and here are meant to be. I'll tell you the truth, but please don't take this the wrong way, i will never stop loving her, and if you ever hurt her, I will get you, but as long as your together I will never try and do anything, I wouldn't do that to you.
At least your truthful about it, and you never have to worry, I won't hurt her. There is something I need to talk to you about.

Well it's two things, firstly, I see no one who would suit the role of being my best man better then you.

Of course.

I want to find my dad.
Why?
I want him to know that I'm happy and getting married.
But you have know clue where he is.
Well I want to talk to Lucy and see if she will be ok me going to find him.
Your just got engaged I don't know how happy she will be about that.
I won't be gone for ever just a couple months, then when I come back we can get married.
Well why did you want to talk to me about it?
I want you to look after her.
Well I live with you guys so shouldn't be to hard.

We go back inside and join the party. I wonder if Lucy will be cool with Natsu leaving her? I wonder how long he will be gone? Maybe this will be my chance.
