The dream ended I opened my eyes and sat up, what was that. The dreams are starting to get more weird each time some times nothing happens then one night it comes back as if it never left.
I looked at the time it was 3:00 in the morning, well might as well find something to do. So I get up out of bed and get ready for school, and I check the time it was going on 4 o'clock great 2 hours before everyone else is up. I make my way down stairs to the kitchen and make me a bowl of oatmeal, trying to pass the time I do the dishes, and clean the kitchen. I look at the clock on the stove it was only 4:50, so I went to the living room and turned the TV to pass the rest of the time.
I searched through all the channels looking for something interesting to watch while I waited for everyone by the time I put on a show it was already 5:30, laying there on the couch was starting to get comfortable and my eyes were starting to get heavy, I fought and I fought until finally I let the darkness consume me.
I woke to some one shaking me, calling me into the light. I opened my eyes to see dad standing over me laughing.
"Did you stay up to late?" he said giving me a questioning look.
"No couldn't sleep, I had the dream again" I looked up to see his expression change to a worried look, he always did that ever since the first day I told him I was having the dream.
"Was it different? I don't want you to worry" great he used the 'I am here for you' tone
"No it was the same scene and dad I am not worrying" we sat in silence until I broke the silence with the one question that has been bothering me,
"Dad who were the people in my dream, the only name I could remember was Jace" he looked at me shocked as if he knew the name.
"Don't you remember what me and your mother told you, that is the name of your friend and the other two in the car were his parents Stan and Tessa. It the only memory you have of the accident. You went with Jace and his parents to dinner and a movie while me, your mother and your brother were at home waiting for you, the accident happened the night they were bringing you home. There was an animal that ran in front of the car and Stan swerved, then the car flipped and when help came you were rushed to the hospital, and we were notified by the police who showed up at our door after I called you. We raced down there and found out about the accident."
"Dad I don't remember going to a funeral or the people in the car why can't I remember anything" I looked out the corner of my eye and say my brother Jake and my mom watching our conversation. Jake was shaking his head and I swear I saw a tear roll down his cheek. Why was he crying.
"Mitchy you were in the hospital when we had the funeral and the doctors said that it will take time to get the memories back. Now lets get you to school" he opens the front door and I walked out with Jake and my parents behind me.
I grab my bike and start to walk when Jake runs in front of me and stops me in my tracks "Move Jake I have to get to school" he looked at me with the confused look he gives me all the time. "What do you mean silly get in the car, mom and dad are giving us a ride to school remember?"
"Nope, sorry I am riding my bike to school with Stacy, Now if you would excuse me" I shoved pass him and started walking, I didn't look back for nothing because I knew that something was off, the way they were acting when I asked about the dream, and the way mom and dad were going to take us to school? Okay that was weird mom and dad never took us to school except when Jake and me were grounded from the car. But that wasn't our fault well maybe a little but why now?
"Mitchy were are you going get in the car, me and your father are taking you to school" typical mom tying to get me in the car well it won't work not this time. I just kept walking until I got to Stacy's, I pulled out my phone and clicked her name (I love speed dial it helps especially in times like these I want to get away from my family and get to school on time.
