Saying you love me then hating how I am just ruins it. I'm Pansexual, I like people of all genders (or no gender, that's cool too). My sexual preference is different from yours but that doesn't give you the right to suddenly hate me and my friends because of that. Out of all my friends ( Aaron, Carson, Jasper, Jacob, Jay, Jason, Sammy, Bailey, Noah, Kyle, Adam, Dalton, Logan, Joseph, and Joey) only four of them are in the LGBTQ+ community like me. Jay, Jason, Noah, and Bailey. Jay is a pansexual, transgender male. Jason is gay. Noah is asexual. Bailey is bisexual. The rest of the boys mentioned are completely straight. Yeah, some of my bands songs are LGBTQ+ related. That's because we want to represent everyone! Not just cis gendered straight people and not so that we can "force the gay upon people" like no get over yourself. No body "forces the gay". I've been around straight people all my life and was never influenced to be straight. I've been around people of different races all my life and they have never influenced me to act like I'm them. I've been around people of different religious backgrounds all my life and they have never influenced me to study a certain religion. Just because I chose to be the way I am, that doesn't mean I'm "following a crowd". God I wish it was as simple as being straight and "normal" in societies eyes. Maybe then life would be easier for me and my friends. But no, this is me and this is how I am. I did not chose it, nor will I chose to keep it hidden. I am who I am. No one can change that. I hate when fans see me in public and say "omg Austin I love you, you are the best drummer ever"but turn right around and criticize me because of my sexuality. I'm not the type of person who "acts gay"because according to straight people they have a way of seeing if someone if gay because of how they act (which is bullshit because no one knew I was pansexual before I told them.) I act just like any other boy, but since my sexuality is different, I get judged. People don't go up to people in public and say "eww your straight you're going to hell" so why is it OK in societies eyes to say "eww your a faggot you're going to hell" to me or my friends? We are all equal, and if there is a god, the bible that you Christians try so very hard to quote and force onto me everyday says "god loves all his children" and "god has a plan for everyone." Maybe he really does love me and maybe I was born to be pansexual. Just like you was born to be straight. Just like Jason was born to be Gay. Just like Jay was born to be Transgender. Just like Bailey is bisexual. Just Like Noah is asexual. I can't even be on a flight without having some judgmental bullshit being said. I'm sick of it. Sorry for the long ass rant but it needed to be said. Have a nice day/night.
