A couple hours later after the show and spending some time with the fans, Taylor was ready to crash. He was exhausted after performing that night. But as soon as he stepped on the tour bus, he saw Sarah sitting there with Kate and Nikki. He was shocked to see her there, as he thought she had left to go home. " What... what are you still doing here?"

" Well, since we are in town for the night she is going to stay with us. She had left a note saying she was going to a friends house tonight anyway, so it works out." Nikki explained. " You two really need to talk though. So me and Kate will scoot to the back of the bus."

Sarah quietly sat there, unsure of what to say as the two walked away. He sighed, and sat across from her at the table. " I don't know what you want me to say, Sarah. I just... things are different now. I have a wife and..."

" I'm not dumb, Taylor. I do know that. But you... your acting like I never meant anything to you. We... we have a kid together too. Sure he or she isn't a part of our lives, but they are a part of who we are."

Tears came to her eyes, and he felt a tinge of guilt. He knew how hard it was for her to be around him, because he felt the same way around her. As much as he didn't want to admit to it, a small part of him wanted to wrap his arms around her and just hold her. He really had missed her. " Sarah, I know that. We do share something, a special kind of bond. But I just... I can't do this, just be friends with you after all we went through. Especially with Natalie as my wife. She knows our history and... she just would be suspicious everytime she saw us together."

" You don't know that, Taylor. You are making up any excuse you can because you feel what I feel. I know you well enough, even after all these years, to know that a small part of you still loves me."

Before Taylor could say anything more, Isaac and Zac walked into the bus with Natalie behind them. She took one look at Sarah, and instantly knew who she was. Taylor had shown her pictures. Walking over to her husband, she put an arm around him and kissed his cheek. " Hello Sarah. I'm sure you can guess who I am." She turned to face her, and gave her a fake smile.

Taylor knew his wife was only trying to make her feel uncomfortable, and was sure that it was working. He saw her glance at Natalie quickly, and noticed her eyes shift from her to his brothers. Sarah nodded and said nothing. He could tell she was very nervous all of a sudden. " Of course she knows. I'm sure she has seen pictures of us together on the internet." He spoke up for her.

" I'm surprised to see you here, Sarah. I thought you would have left by now." Zac looked over at her, hoping to break the tension.

" Nikki hung out with me during the show, and when I told her I was going to a hotel for the night, she invited me to stay at the same one as you guys." She explained to him.

" I guess we can head to the hotel then since we are all here." Isaac gave their driver a nod to tell him it was okay to take off.

Sarah looked over at Natalie, who still had her arm around Taylor. " I... I'm going to go sit with Nikki and Kate." Sarah went to the back of the bus, and Natalie seemed happy to have chased her off.

Taylor looked at his wife, and saw the smile on her face. " I get that you don't want her here, but I don't want you to make her so uncomfortable to be around you. She is a friend, Natalie."

Isaac shook his head at his brother, amazed that all of a sudden he was standing up for Sarah. " You treated her like she was trash earlier, Tay. Now you are calling her your friend? Make up your mind and stop acting like a jerk." He grabbed a dr pepper out of the fridge and headed to the back of the bus. Before he did, he turned around to face Natalie. " You do need to play nice though. I don't want you to start something with her because you don't want her near Tay." Before Taylor could say anything to him, he walked away.

Isaac was able to get Sarah the room next to him at the hotel that had a connecting door, which made him happy. He wanted to make sure she was close by so he could sort of keep an eye on her. Just as always, he felt protective of her. He had always watched over her when they were kids, making sure she stayed out of trouble and that no harm came to her. Especially since she had lied to get to the concert, he wanted to make sure that she remained safe.

Instead of going straight to bed, he ordered room service not just for him and his family, but for Sarah too. He figured she had to be starving after a long evening of waiting around for the concert and stuff.

Once she was in some pajamas so that she could be more comfortable, Sarah came into the room and sat herself down at the table. She smiled at the kids, who in turn smiled back at her.

" Would you like something to drink, Sarah? We have some root beer and dr pepper" Nikki suggested, opening up the fridge door.

" Root beer would be great. Thank you."

Isaac sat himself across from her at the table, smiling at her. " So what have you been up to, Sarah? Are you still much of a writer?"

Sarah smiled back. " Yes. And you still can't read any of it. Not only do I not have it with me, but I'm not willing to share anyway."

Isaac laughed a little. " Sarah was almost always writing when we were kids, but she would never share it." He told his wife, who handed Sarah a root beer as she sat down at the table next to her.

" That's cool that you write. May I ask what kind of writing you do?" Nikki asked.

" Short stories and a little bit of poetry." She told her, opening the can of root beer and taking a sip.

Isaac took a sip of his dr pepper. " I can't believe you write poetry now, Sarah. That's pretty awesome."

" Only when that kind of inspiration hits." She told him, with a shrug of her shoulders.

" What else are you up to, Sarah." Nikki asked, curious to know more about her. Not that she hadn't heard stories about her and stuff, but now she could learn more about her from Sarah herself.

Sarah told him of her parents divorcing shortly after their moving back to Minnesota, and how she moved in with her aunt and uncle. She continued to tell them everything as they ate once their food showed up. As he listened to her explain the way her uncle treated both her and her aunt, Isaac began to grow more upset with the whole situation. He hated to hear how unhappy Sarahr seemed to be. Wanting to help her out, he came up with a couple of idea's to get her out of there.

He finished off his meal, and wiped his face with his napkin. " Hey, I want you to pick which of these two sound better to you, and you absolutely have to pick one of the two. Either you join us on our tour or you let me pay for an apartment of your choice. What's it going to be?"

" My uncle would never..."

" We will talk to your aunt, don't worry about him. And I suggest you come with us on tour. We will have so much fun, Sarah." Nikki pleaded with her, giving her a little pout.

" Yeah. You could play with us." Monroe piped up, happy with the idea of another aduilt to play with.

Sarah smiled at him. " Good luck talking to my aunt." She handed her cell phone to Nikki. " If it works out, I would love to come on tour with you."

While Nikki spent time talking to Julie, Sarah got ready for bed. She was so tired from her long day of work and standing around that day. Isaac even made sure she got into bed, tucking her in like he would his own kids. " We'll get your cell phone plugged in when she is done talking to her. You just try to get some sleep."

Sarah giggled. " I don't really need you to tuck me in."

" I know you don't. But you know me, Sarah. I always felt a need to look after you." He smiled, sitting on the edge of the bed.

" That's the one thing I always liked about you. You were always there to protect me." She smiled back. " And your still doing it. Thank you, Isaac."

" That's what friends are for, Sarah. I'm just... doing what I can to try getting you out of this situation your in." He kissed her forehead. " Try and get some sleep. We'll let you know in the morning how the conversation went."

Covering herself up, she was asleep only minutes later. Isaac took over on the phone then to try talking to Julie when Nikki failed at her attempt to get Sarah on tour with them.
