i smiled as i threw my phone onto the sofa and ran upstairs to shower. i sighed as the warm water hit my skin. i grabbed my purple herbal essences shampoo and massaged it all through my hair. when i was finished, i walked to my closet to pick out an outfit. i chose a black laced bralet top with a mini skirt and white lace toms. i searched through my jewellery box until i found the bracelet and necklace christian had given me for my birthday. the necklace had three golden chains with an arrow hanging at the bottom. the bracelet was silver and had the ends of an arrow on each end of it. (picture above). for my makeup i put on foundation, concealer, contour, highlighter, a slightly gold shimmering eyeshadow, mascara, a dark red lipstick and i filled in my eyebrows. i took a mirror selfie and posted the picture on my snapchat story and instagram. by the time i was finished it was 6:45. damn i took long. i sat on my sofa, nervously tapping my foot on the wooden floor as i was waiting for christian to turn up.

i was scrolling through my twitter feed when i heard a knock on the door. i smiled and quickly sprang to my feet. i opened it and christian's jaw dropped.
"wow, you look beautiful." he said as i began blushing. he was wearing a button up shirt and a pair of skinny jeans and vans. he was so attractive.
"you don't look too bad yourself akridge." i smirked at him as he took my hand and walked me to his car. he opened the door for me as i got in. he was driving with one hand on  the steering wheel, the other intertwined with mine. 'Riptide' came on and christian began singing along. his voice was amazing. he was so passionate about his music and seeing him sing was one of my favourite things. god was i in love with his voice. i couldn't take my eyes off him, whenever he sang i could never hold back a smile.
"i love your voice." i whispered to him as his lips slowly grew into a smile. he gently kissed my hand and kept driving.

we soon pulled up outside a restaurant.
"so i was thinking, we could get something to eat here and then i'm taking you on an adventure." he spoke softly.
"that sounds amazing." i said as i slammed the car door shut. we walked to the restaurant door with our hands interlaced.
"table for two please." christian said to the waiter at the door. we got a small booth near the back of the restaurant. i opened up the menu and looked through all of the different meals.
"what are you getting?" i asked christian as he stared intensely at his menu.
"uhhhh..i think im going for the steak and chips, what about you?"
"i was thinking the same actually." i answered as the waiter came over to our table.
"are you ready to order?" he asked, rather moodily.
"yes, can we have two of the steak and chips please." christian replied, staying polite as usual.
"and drinks?" he rolled his eyes and looked at christian again.
"um i'll just have a coke thank you, what do you want phoebs?" he looked up at me and smiled weakly.
"i'll just have a lemonade thanks." i said without facing the waiter. he wrote everything down and walked away without saying anything else.

we spent most of our time in the restaurant just talking, laughing and just having a good time. i always had a good time when i was with christian. he was one of the few people who made me genuinely happy and i was so glad that i had met him. i adored every little thing about him. i spent a lot of time just admiring him and all his features. his imperfections were perfect to me. even though he had little to none. once we had finished eating, he paid for our meal and we walked out to his car.
"where are you taking me now?" i asked.
"on an adventure, like i said." he smirked as he turned on his car and began driving.

we soon arrived in the woods, a huge lake past the trees. "my shoes are white im gonna get them ruined." i said to christian, slightly worried.
"guess i'll have to carry you then." he replied as he threw me over his shoulder. i couldnt help myself from giggling as he walked me towards the lake. when he got there he put me down and began taking his clothes off, leaving him only in his boxers.
"you coming in?" he asked as he walked towards the lake.
"yeah one second." i said as i removed my clothing too. i stood at the edge of the lake, admiring the beauty within it. before i knew it, i was pushed into the lake with christian jumping in behind me. as i came back to the surface i saw christian laughing his head off.
"im gonna get you back for that bread boy." i said, trying to act angry but i couldnt stop myself from laughing. he swam towards me and wrapped his arms around my waist. i wrapped my arms and legs around him and put my forehead against his. he looked me in the eyes and said,
"phoebs, will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"
