Betrayal
I wrapped my coat tighter around myself, protecting me from the harsh wind. I walked down the stepped and picked up the newspaper. I quickly walked back in and enjoyed my warm home.
"Honey, you got it?'" He asked looking up from eating his cereal.
I smiled and walked over to him. I places it in front of him and began massaging his shoulders from behind. "Mhm."
He chuckled and began relaxing. He took a long sigh before getting up and walking to the sink to put away his now empty bowl. "We have to finish packing, then I have to get to work." he said as he walked to me and kissed me tenderly on the lips.
"Ok let's finish." I said as I walked up the stairs. I loved our new home. A two story house, with light creme walls and cherry wood floors. I entered our room and looked at all the boxes scattered all over the floor. I grabbed one box labeled 'pictures' and opened it. The first pictured frame on the very top, was the one of the best memories. My wedding.
Two strong arms wrapped around me from behind, startling me a bit, I turned around and starred at his beautiful carmel eyes. "I love that picture." He said in his low and raspy voice. I turned back to the picture and admired it. It was a picture of us kissing after we had said our vows.
"I will always love you, until death do us apart, Zayn."
I didn't know how, or why, but that simple phrase would change so much in such a little time.
