Jess still couldn't believe that she had killed a man. She was convinced she needed to flee the country. So that's what she did. She packed her bags and bought a plane ticket. Where to you might ask? Canada. The fact that someone who's only 14 can fly alone is insanity.

Wow I'm really hungry. I still have a 2 hour layover. I'll just grab some food on the way to my gate.
I say as I continue to walk and search for my gate.
I bump into a boy who looks as lost as I am and he speaks.

R: it's okay really
He says dusting himself off.
J: here let me help you up. Take my hand.
The boy takes her hand and they stand up together.

J: so where are you heading?
R: gate 41
J: me too.
She says sounding shocked.
He giggles and they walk together and search for the plane and some food. Because by this time they were both really really hungry. Jess didn't know how, but she's falling..... Hard for this boy. She didn't know him. She can't trust him not until he's proven his trust to her. She says to herself.
