Este poema lo hice hace bastante, bastante tiempo. De hecho, es de los tiempos en los que empecé a escribir, así que no esperéis gran cosa. Lo hice tras leer el libro In The Time Of The Butterflies, el cual hablaba de unas hermanas muy valientes que lucharon por lo que querían. Originalmente lo publiqué un 13 de marzo de 2010, siendo el cumpleaños de una de ellas el día 12. Y bueno, salió esto. Espero que os guste lo mínimo.

And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
delicately in my ears.
She was one out of three
heroines, who gave their lives
for the freedom of their tree,
beneath the tyrant's knives.
And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
softly in my ears.
Her wings were beautiful
and so was her flight,
magnificent and graceful,
as the sunshine light.
And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
delicately in my ears.
She came to me today,
fluttering all around the woods.
I remembered her birthday yesterday,
which made me be in a whole good mood.
And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
softly in my ears.
One awful day, she said,
on top of a high, rainy "Cumbre"
she was victim of a raid
that finished up with her life.
And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
delicately in my ears.
I'll try not to forget her,
since she has taught me so much.
That women should be like her,
and fight for the things they love.
And the butterfly came,
calming my fears
as she whispered her name
softly into my ears.
