Chapter 2

Aliyah

On my way to University, I thought about alot of things. For starters, I was thinking about all the friends I lost throughout the years and about the ones I've gained.

Bruh, and the fact that I don't even have a boyfriend. What 20 year old doesn't have a boyfriend! Guys, let me tell you, I've been single for the past 3 years. I think I even forgot how to shoot my shot at a guy and even how to kiss. Is that even possible? My life's such a mess.

Also, let me tell you about my new friend. Her name is Sariah Daniels, and she is the sweetest person I know. I swear she gets me and understands everything I tell her. And she even gives the best advice.

To be honest, I've actually known her since I was little. We were at the same church and had the same Bible classes. We actually lost touch for a few years, and lookey here, we finally started talking again, thanks to a relative who happens to be friends with her brother. I won't call her my best friend yet, but I consider her kinda close. She's my main bitch y'all.

I've lost so many friends so far, that's why I'm kind of scared to get too close to her, but I truly appreciate the sweet person she is. She hasn't judged me for anything thus far and she always gives me the best advice. It's not what I want to hear, but always what I need to hear.

But antywayys, I started craving something sweet and ended up going to Mc Donald's before class. I went to the drive thru and ordered a Mocha Frappe, as well as a chocolate donut. I ordered the same thing for Sariah, because I knew she'd be upset if she found out I went to our happy place without her.

About 30 minutes later I arrived at California State University. I'm actually a psychology major and I have my mind and heart set on obtaining my PHD in Forensic Psychology. Sariah is an education major, but she's only in her first year, while I'm in my third and only have one more year to go. Yaaayy!! I'm super excited to finally graduate.

While I was still in my car, I called Sariah so that she can fetch her goodies I bought, and let me tell you, she was super excited.

Phone Call

Baby'G💕: Heyy gyall, what's up?

Me: Hi S, I bought you something. I'm still by the car, so you can fetch it from me.

Baby'G💕: Nchoaww, you bought little ole me something. How sweet.

Me: Bitch, just come get the shits.

Baby'G💕: Damn fine, I'm on my way.

Once I hung up the phone, approximately 4 mins later I saw her running towards the car.

"Hey hey hey", I greeted once she was in earshot. "Hi babe, I really can't believe you bought me something." She gushed.

I just gave her a mean mug and shot her the bird. This girl had the nerve to burst out in laughter.

We sat in the car for a few minutes, before heading to class. Obviously we had to go our separate ways, and guys my heart broke a little. But I knew I'd be seeing her in the next hour or two.

As I entered the classroom, I got a lot of lustful stares from the guys and ugly ass glares from the girls, but I didn't pay them any attention. I mean, only one man has my heart.

Speaking about my mans has just reminded me that he posted a IG story, and I obviously had to view and comment on it.

Not even 10 minutes later he responded and my damn heart leaped outta my chest. I stopped breathing for a split second, because I didn't expect it nor did I know what to reply. Guys please help a sister out. Where's Sariah when I need her.

I can't believe this man is chatting with me, this is so surreal.

But I must say, my heart is happy. May this would be my future baby daddy. Looll, just jokes but you never know maybe it's happens.

I'm finally a few steps closer to getting a boyfriend, 3 years was too long. This was looonngg overdue. I can't wait to share this exciting news with Sariah.
