We sat in silence as The Doctor and I ate our chips. Finally, I broke the silence. "So, what's with that police box?" "You mean my TARDIS?" He asked. "Your what?" "My TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimension In Space, It's my spaceship." He says without looking up from his chips.
"Cool." I answer calmly. Somehow this offends The Doctor and he drops his fork. "Cool!? Strange man apears in a strange police box, wearing strange clothes, takes you to chips and tells you he has a spaceship and all you say is 'cool'!?"
"Well, yeah." I answer nonchalantly. "Really? There's not a single shadow of doubt, not a thought that I might be lying?" The Doctor questions.
"Well, are you?"
"No."
"Then there you go. Besides, Doctor, I've had a lot of liars in my life, I can tell when someone is lying." I said confidently. The Doctor leaned over the table and looked me in the eyes and I did the same. "Oh really?" The Doctor challenged. "Try me." I said with an evil half smile.
"I was born on a distant planet called Gallafrey."
"Truth."
"I'm not a human."
"Truth."
"I go around the universe, saving lives and fighting monsters."
"Truth."
"I want you to come with me."
"Li- wait what?" I said, caught off guard. "Come with me, travel the universe. It'll be fun." He suggested. "Ok." I said giggling. "Great!" the Doctor sprang out of his seat and pulled out what I assumed was a wallet. He grabbed my hand and pulled my out of my seat and out of the reaturant, only breafly flashed his wallet-like object at the woman at the front of the reaturaunt.
We ran as fast as we could all the way back to the TARDIS. Oh, how I loved to run, especially with The Doctor for some reason. He began to climb into the TARDIS. "Wait. I should change first." I protested. "Plenty of clothes in the TARDIS!" He said happily, climbing all the way into the TARDIS. "Well, don't I need money?" I asked, stepping into the TARDIS.
"Wow." The inside was huge. "Just say it." The Doctor said with a smile.
"It's bigger on the inside." I whispered. "Right," The Doctor jumped up to the center control consol and flipped a switch. "where do you want to go?"
