They sat there; on the ground just crying with each other. They couldn't bear the pain of their loss. The thing that they had created together, to start their new lives together was now gone. Just snatched away from them in an instant.
She cried into his navy blue sweatshirt and he held her as if she was about to leave forever. They clung to one another, their presence enough to salvage the little hope they had left inside to carry on.
But, they would carry on and come back from this. With each other as their anchors. To steady them and to help cope and learn to love again in this time of unbearable grief.
Ashleigh and Harry couldn't of been more broken and devastated. They were going to start a new beginning with their baby. And now that dream will perish.
At least for the time being.
