Lost Girl

Rushing to the hospital was hard for me. I couldn't stop the tears as they fell down my cheeks, staining my tshirt. I had just grabbed a random pair of keys and they just happened to be Hunters. I jumped in and now here I am rushing to the hospital. I was thinking about how I'm a lost girl in life right now. I mean my mom just died, Hayden is gone, Luca a random little boy knows me and has a connection to me, Nick is missing and my niece and nephew are dying.

Why? Why me. Why not someone else.  My life Is so messed up that I don't even think I know the direction that I want to go in.

While i was thinking, my phone started to just randomly ring. I picked it up and it just so happened to be Eric one of my uncles.

"Hey" I said to him sniffling.

"Have you seen or heard from Hayden?" He asked me in a panicky tone.

"No i haven't, well i did and he shifted and left. I ran outside and he was gone. He's giving the pack to Matt but right now do not call me unless you have seen or heard from my Mate" And with that i hung up.

I had finally pulled into the hospital and rushed inside. Matt and basically the whole pack was there just without all the Alphas. I ran over to Matt and demanded him to tell me everything.

"Ashley she, are niece she's dead. She was named Lilyana Taylor but now she has passed. " He said with tears threatening to ome down his face. "Our nephew which was named Anthony Chase is hanging on"

With that i was just crying, crying until someone small wrapped there arms around me and i instantly felt better. I looked down and i saw the boy, Luca.

"Its gonna be awright, i pwomise you" He said in his little kid voice, it was just so cute. I looked up and Hunter and Ashton were here. I was about to speak when a doctor rushed out from behind the emergency doors.

"I'm so sorry to deliver this news,, but Ashley has just- The doctor paused and looked at us all, "Ashley has just passed away."

It felt like my whole world came crashing down, If she's dead that only means Nick is now dead. I fell to my knees and just started bawling my eyes out. This isn't supposed to happen to her but me. I had just forgiven her and spent what a month with her and now look where she is, Dead, just like Nick is and my niece Lilyana. I couldn't stop crying, all my promises to stop crying have failed. I couldn't do this ever. I felt warm arms grab me and pull me into a hug but if it wasn't him, the one i really wanted and cared about now, then i didn't want anyone to touch or try to comfort me. 

I quickly tore away from there arms and i faced them. It just so happened to be Ashton and Hunter but i didn't want them. 

"Don't and i mean don't touch me ever, just please." 

I looked down and saw Luca's face, him about to cry but i only said two words to him.

"I'm sorry." And with those words said sprinted out the hospital doors and shifted, ignoring all the cries and pleas for me to come back. All the crying and Luca yelling my name was just to painful right now and i couldn't bear it, all i wanted right now was to be comforted by him.

*Kerstyn please find him, i cant go long without knowing hes close* My wolf said to me

*I cant find him, i don't even feel him anymore* Was all i said to her.

I kept running and running, running through the everlasting forest trying to catch a scent, Hoping i would be running faster than him in wolf form. 

Hayden's POV

Leaving her was the hardest thing i had to do, but it was for our own good.  I promised her i would come back but if I'm knowing shes going to choose him anyways was hard. My own mate, I don't even know her scent anymore. I walking through the forest in wolf form trying to get as far away as i could from Texas, at least for a while. I already knew i was in Colorado, but i wasnt stopping till i got to Oregon or at least Canada.

*Hayden, I cant go long without her and you know you cant either, We'll die sooner or later* My wolf Kyle said to me

*You know why we did it Kyle, she was choosing him over us, he spent more time than we did with her and its only fair that they get each other as mates. * I said to him. It was hard saying that but, it needed to be said.

I was walking and thinking when i heard movement coming fast from behind me so i ran and hi behind a tree and waited for my attacker. When he or she finally got close enough i came from behind the tree and pounced on them, That's when i smelt her scent.  I kept thinking that it couldn't be her but when i looked into this wolves eyes i saw her eyes and then looked at her White as snow fur. 

It was Kerstyn.

I quickly got off her and ran behind a tree to shift. I came back and there she was fully clothed with a tear stained face.

"Kerstyn,how did you find me?" I asked her

All she did was come up to me and hug me like her life depended on it. I just hugged her back tighter.

"I'm so sorry but i loved you so much and I just had to find you because you are mine and mine only!"

Hearing those words come out of her mouth shocked me and i just hugged her as tight as i could like my life depended on it. She then stepped out from my arms and looked me into my eyes,

"Hayden we need you. Ashley and my niece Lilyana, and Nick are dead. My moms dead. You cant leave us now. Not like this. Your pack and Hunter's pack need you, I need you more than ever and so does Luca. " She said with tears running down her face.

I came up closer to her and hugged her again.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying with you and the pack." I told her with so much truth in my voice.

"Good." She said

I turned around and went to go grab my bag when I heard a scream from behind me, The thing was it wasnt Kerstyn's. I turned around and went back to the little clearing they were at and saw her. But she was supposed to be dead by her own mates hands.

"Miss me." Was all she said before i blacked out.
