When I woke, I couldn't see. It was pitch dark. "Jason? Lucas?" I say loudly. I hear some rustling to my right, so I go towards it to find some clothing, with a body in it. "Lucas?" I ask skimming over the body with my hands.

"Marcy what are you doing?" A voice asks.

"Who are you?" I ask, panicking.

"It's your mate, Jason." Jason says grabbing my arm. I feel small tingles. "Can't you see me?" He asks.

"I can't see anything." I reply grabbing his hand. "I'm blind. What time of day is it?" I ask. I hear no response, just Jason's hand becoming tighter. "Jason?" I say. I trail my hand up his arm and find his face. I caress his cheek, rubbing my thumb slowly.

"How are you blind?" He whispers, I feel his head move down. I use my other hand and hug him tightly.

"What's happening?" Another voice asks coming from behind me. I stiffen but relax from Jason rubbing my back.

"Marcy is blind Lucas." Jason says, sadness in his voice.

"Blind?" Lucas says. For a few minutes there is silence. I then get a pang in my head, more painful than usual. I let out a groan and grab my head. I then feel hands on my shoulders. "We need to lay her down quickly Jason." Lucas says slowly laying me down on the ground. The pain immenses, becoming bigger.

"Make it stop." I say groaning. I push my hands together, hoping that the pain will go away.

"Don't do that Marcy." Jason says pulling my hands away. The pain becomes less from his touch but then gets worse when he lets me go. I search for his hand and put it on top of my head.

"Don't move your hand, it lessens the pain." I breathe out. Jason keeps his hand on my forehead and the pain slowly goes away. "You can let go now." I say, but his hand stays the same. "Jason?"

"Your eyes Marcy." Jason mumbles, "Your eyes are silver." The vision then flashes through my eyes and I push him away.

"Stay away from me Jason." I say crawling away from him.

"Marcy? Marcy stop!" Jason yells. I don't stop crawling away from him until I realize that I am falling. "Marcy!" Jason yells, his voice becoming fainter. I scream as I am falling from through the air. Then I land in a cold place, water. I try my best to swim, but I don't know which way is up or down from me being thrashed around. My lungs are wanting to burst, but I try my best to hold my breath. Finally after what seemed for minutes, I breathe my first breath since I landed in the water. I stay afloat on the water, feeling the river take me away. After a while I can hear a loud noise, a noise of water crashing against something. A waterfall. Panicking, I swim away from the noise and bump into something. Quickly I grab the object and hold on for my dear life. I hear Jason and Lucas faintly call my name, panicking I begin to paddle away from the waterfall. Trying to stay calm I breathe as normal as I can, making my lungs expand and shrink in a pattern.

"Jason! Lucas!" I yell, paddling some more. My legs were becoming tired so I slowed my peddling but not too much. I hear the thing that I was holding on to creak and shift in the water, my breath hitches from it starting to break. "Please no," I mumble, "Please don't break on me." I whimper, feeling along the object. As quickly as I can, I swim where the branch is connected to and then I feel the ground below my feet. I smile as I continue and feel the ground becoming higher and the water becoming lower, soon enough I am crawling out of the river and onto dry ground. I lay on the ground and let out a sigh of relief. I am alive, I survived almost drowning and falling to my death. I close my eyes so I can relax, but what is the point if I am blind? I replay anything in the past that might have made me this way, but nothing comes to my mind. I sit up and take in all what I can that surrounds me. I can smell that there is birch trees, flowers everywhere, and I can smell the water. What I can hear is a different story, I can hear birds chirping, the water flowing, and some animals or tiny critters moving along the fallen leaves. "Jason?" I yell, "Lucas?" I hear no reply, I hear nothing from them.
