The frigid wind bit at the open skin on Maya's lower legs as she arrived at Riley's apartment complex. The masked man had not contacted her since he had told her he would see her later that night, and since she sure as hell wasn't asking him for a ride, she walked herself. Katy, per usual, had to pick up a shift at the diner.

Typical.

Once Maya entered the lobby and had admired the sound her heels made when they clapped on the marble floors it was five-fifty. She stopped at the front desk, trying to stand tall.

"Can you buzz me up to the roof? I have dinner plans." The woman smiled and began to flip through a notebook on her desk, before stopping on a page.

"You're with the Matthew's?" Maya nodded, and the woman waved her over to a door on the right sight of the room.

"Through there, please. The door outside is labeled rooftop, so you shouldn't miss it." Maya turned back around and headed for the grey door, letting it close behind her as soft as possible. The stairwell was cold and the air was bitter. As her feet led her up the steps she thought about everything the masked man had told her so far, her directions.

Have dinner at Riley's. Tell them about the calls in full detail. Wear nice clothing, and wear the dress and shoes he brought for you on the fire escape. We'll go from there. Anyone else finds out-

We're all dead.

"Maya, you're here!" Riley chirped as Maya finally exited the cold staircase. She was wearing a cute baby blue dress and her hair was curled. She looked so beautiful- had she forgotten what even happened? The air was fresh outside, and she would've rejoiced- but none of the air she breathed made it to her lungs. Her skin was on fire with anxiety.

"Hi, Riles." Riley gracefully swept Maya up into her arms, hugging her tightly. Maya relaxed. But only slightly. None of them- Riley, Cory and Topanga, Lucas, Farkle, Charlie, Zay, Smackle- none of them knew about the phone calls. They were oblivious to the fact that the anonymous murderer was probably watching them at that moment, hidden somewhere. Maybe in the window one building over, or on the roof of the next building.

If I screw up, we are all going to die tonight.

"Hey, Maya. How are you?" Cory asked. He jogged over from the table in the center to meet her, hugging her possibly tighter than Riley. Maya sighed.

"I'm alright. How are you?"

"As expected." His face fell and his eyes stared at the sky. He perked up within a moment, though, and led Maya over to the table, giving her the seat at the very end. They sat for a few moments, and Maya complimented them on their table setting. There were ornate plates and cloth napkins and gold silverware, with tons of different foods lined all the way down the center of the table.

"Darby would have liked it." Topanga said quietly, and Maya had to fight the urge to grimace. They weren't doing this for Darby.

They should've done something like it for Darby.

"Hi." Maya heard a small voice peep up from beside her. When she looked over, she saw Farkle, balancing awkwardly on the balls of his feet. Riley smiled.

"Hi. You look great, thank you for coming." Riley said, and Maya mentally thanked her. She knew Maya didn't want to talk very much that night (sucks for her. There's a lot of talking coming her way).

Farkle was wearing a normal black and white suit and his hair was all smoothed over. Maya assumed all of the guys would look this way. He hugged Riley, and when he looked at Maya, his face fell and his brows furrowed. After he had sat down in the seat next to her as Riley had instructed, he whispered at her frantically.
